![]() i3lurker my experience with airlines is that most people who buy the shares are fans of airlines they buy it more for fun purposes if it (the airline) makes money its ok lah as long as it goes not go bankrupt, its ok lah question for most shareholders is still, is it going bankrupt? thats why price did not drop much coz the Big Brother gave it the KL Singapore route. Price drop was entirely due to sharks hoping to make big bucks, and they failed. Failed miserably. They might try again, dunno. the share price will reflect the probability of going bankrupt more than the ROI. Most dun bother as long as they see Big Brother is still ok. 16/11/2019 9:33 AM FKLI13 Investing in AAX need patience and skills. Some good companies producing good result but share price drop. Some companies producing bad result but share price is going up. Whatever is it, most important is where is your cost per share, against the market share price. AAX need 2-3 for harvesting. Now is reaching the lowest I ever seen. Although the overall business environment would face have a lot of challenges especially coming 3-5 months.. but this price 0.150-0.160 is very very attractive. Start to invest progressively and you would see handsome return in the near future. Happy investing :) 17/11/2019 10:07 PM Ron90 hoping another tweet from Tony Fernandez...this year would be the best every for AAX... now eat your won medicine....why he eager to buy MAS.so than he can bleed MAS to save this AAX ..lost faith to this tamby.. AirAsia Berhad making money but they need to cover AAX losses. 06/12/2019 10:28 AM Good123 right issue bila? KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia X Bhd's net loss widened to RM229.89 million in the third quarter (Q3) ended September 30, 2019, from RM197.47 million a year earlier. This was due to a RM67.5 million rise in foreign exchange losses as well as deferred taxation of RM71.76 million. However, AirAsia X's net operating loss for the quarter shrank to RM69.46 million compared to RM205.23 million in 2018's corresponding period, mainly due to the recognition of airport incentives and a lower fuel price, it said. In addition, an impairment of RM138.2 million had been provided for in Q3 2018, the long-haul budget airline said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia. Its revenue for the quarter under review decreased to RM1.01 billion from RM1.08 billion previously. For the nine-month financial period, AirAsia X's net loss grew to RM393.67 million from RM213.43 million in the same period last year while revenue rose to RM3.19 billion from RM3.41 billion previously. The airline pointed out the challenges posed by the weakening of the ringgit against the US dollar and the recent implementation of a departure levy from all Malaysian airports, as well as "irrational competition" in the local aviation industry. "However, the company is safeguarded against fuel price volatility as 86 per cent of the airline's fuel requirement for the fourth quarter of this year is hedged at average Brent hedge prices of US$61 per barrel," it added. Amid these headwinds, the group would actively capture revenue opportunities and exercise cost discipline to boost profitability in this challenging macroeconomic environment, AirAsia X added. "Demand and load factors are expected to remain at a reasonably healthy level. In addition, it is worthwhile to note that average base fare is trending higher year-on-year in quarter four," it said. The carrier said its management continued to work on reducing costs, including investment in digitalisation as part of AirAsia Group-wide initiatives that are expected to help reduce costs in the long run. "The company expects fourth quarter 2019's overall core results to remain reasonably healthier operationally year-on-year as the management remains committed to ensure sustainable growth amid challenges in the global aviation industry," it added. 07/12/2019 8:08 PM Good123 saya rasa tak cukup cash untuk rugi besar berterusan. bila mau cash call lagi? 07/12/2019 8:09 PM Good123 whatever graph tells u is useless... bottomline is profit..... rugi besar, harga saham jatuh berterusan, tak payah tengok graf untuk syiok sendiri 07/12/2019 8:12 PM Good123 aax is one of Malaysian corporate failure of 21st century.
