HeadlinesBusiness Background Destini Bhd is a Malaysia-based company engaged in the investment holding and provision of management services. The company operates through three segments. The Maintenance, repair, overhaul and training segment is involved in the support, replacement, and overhaul of aviation, automobile and safety and tabular handling equipment as well as providing training for the use of safety equipment. Its Marine construction segment consists of the development of shipbuilding and restoration and preservation of vessels. The Recycling of waste segment comprises of extraction and recycling of waste tires for the production of carbon black, diesel fuel and scrap metal. It operates geographically across countries like Malaysia and Singapore.

Now they are in midst of fund rising through PP to finance the existing projects in hand. 18/12/2020 12:04 PM Macgyver11 The group said it has tendered for three projects with a total estimated value of RM3.5 billion for its maintenance, repair and overhaul and oil and gas segments. “The exact breakdown for the expenditure on the working capital for each new project cannot be determined at this juncture and will depend on the working capital requirements of the new projects at material time,” the group said. The outcome of the tendered projects, it said, will be made available by the first quarter of 2021. Destini said RM28.14 million of the placement proceeds would be used as working capital for existing projects. The group currently has 16 ongoing contracts with an outstanding value of RM536.6 million, which will provide earnings visibility for the next two years. Destini said the placement is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2021. Shares in Destini closed 2.22% or half a sen higher at 23 sen, valuing the group at RM318.84 million.
