Leadership Appointments Aligned with Strategic Expansion and Innovation
KUALA LUMPUR, 10 JANUARY 2025 – Tex Cycle Technology (M) Berhad (“Tex Cycle” or the “Group”), an established waste management and recycling solutions provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ho Wai Mun as Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) and Lee Junyan as Chief Technical Officer (“CTO”). These strategic appointments come in line with the Group’s continued expansion, both through mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”) and organic growth, as well as their longstanding service and contributions to the Group and the industry.
Ho Wai Mun, with over 12 years at Tex Cycle, has excelled in business development, marketing, and operations management. A graduate of HELP University in Mass Communication, he joined the company in 2011 as a Business Development Executive and advanced through roles such as Marketing Manager and Senior General Manager. As a Certified Professional in Scheduled Waste Management, he has driven client relationships, operational success, and sustainability-focused strategies, positioning him to lead Tex Cycle’s operations as COO.
Lee Junyan brings extensive technical expertise and leadership to his role as CTO. With a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, he joined Tex Cycle in 2016 as a Technical Engineer. He has led key renewable energy projects, including the waste-to-energy gasification power plant, and, as Senior Technical Manager, spearheaded R&D initiatives, boosting operational efficiency and sustainability. As CTO, he will lead Tex Cycle’s technical innovation and renewable energy efforts.
