This list is inaccurate. For instance, Formosa Prosonic Industries (FPI) registered NEGATIVE free cash flow for FY2014

Tarmiz,

How come u give a 2014 link leh ?

The title of the list says, the companies listed have 10 continuous years of
- Dividend
- Profit
- Positive Operating Cash Flow
- Positive Free Cash Flow

"10 continuous years" means it includes FY2014.

There are a few ways to calculate 'Free Cash Flow'. The simplest is [Net Operating Cash Flow - CAPEX]

You are welcome.

"stockraider: Ok then FPI Free cashflow positive mah....!!"

No it is not.

FPI for FY2014:
Net cash from operation: RM3,046,964
CAPEX: -RM 3,700,637

Hence, for FY2014, FPI obtained NEGATIVE free cash flow.

Look, I'm not saying FPI is a bad company or its dividend is unsustainable. I simply stated the fact that this list produced by The Edge is inaccurate.

But put it this way...u looking into 10 yrs cashflow of a company...raider is sure the balance of 9 companies....will also encounter the same problem over 10 yrs....where at least 1 yr, not so good due to capex loh...!!

Have u check the other 9 companies ??

Raider think....most important....cash balance keep growing & growing..thats what raider see thats is positive free cash flow mah..!!

stockraider:
Calm your tits down. As I said, I'm not saying any of the companies in this list are bad.

I simply say that this list produced by The Edge is inaccurate. 'The Edge' is a so called 'premium' business newspaper, and inaccuracies in their articles disappoints me. That is all.

This is my last reply. Good bye & have a good day ahead.
