Vortex Consolidated proposes name change to Harvest Miracle Capital

KUALA LUMPUR (June 8): Vortex Consolidated Bhd has proposed to change its name to Harvest Miracle Capital Bhd.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, the group said the new name was approved by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) on June 8.

"The proposed change of name is subject to the approval of shareholders of the company at a general meeting to be convened, and if approved, will take effect upon the issuance of the Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name by the CCM."

Vortex Consolidated is principally involved in information technology and property construction activities.

Its shares ended on Wednesday 0.5 sen or 2.7% higher at 19 sen, giving it a market value of RM207.6 million.
