KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 12): Aneka Jaringan Holdings Bhd has bagged a RM46 million contract that entails piling and substructure works for a mixed-development project in Setapak.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Monday (Sept 12), Aneka Jaringan said its wholly owned subsidiary Aneka Jaringan Sdn Bhd has accepted a letter of acceptance from 59 INC Sdn Bhd to be the contractor of the project.
The first phase of the project is expected to be completed by July 2, 2023 while the second phase is expected to be completed by Nov 2, 2023.
The first phase comprises a 31-storey block of serviced apartments (Block A) with 303 units, a 29-storey block of serviced apartments (Block B) containing 310 units, 87 business space units, eight car park podium floors, underground parking as well as facilities.
Meanwhile, the second phase consists of a 29-storey block of serviced apartments (Block C) with 310 units, and a 31-storey block of serviced apartments (Block D) consisting of 303 units.
"The contract is expected to contribute positively to Aneka's consolidated earnings and net assets ending Aug 31 for financial years 2023 and 2024," it said.
Aneka Jaringan's share price ended 6.06% or one sen higher at 17.5 sen on Monday (Sept 12), bringing a market capitalisation of RM103.6 million.
