KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 19): Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query to Hextar Technologies Solutions Bhd following the sharp rise in its share price and trading volume recently.

At midday on Wednesday, Hextar Technologies shares rose by 71 sen or 11.29% to RM7 with 136,900 shares transacted.

"Investors are advised to take note of the company's reply to the above UMA query, which will be posted on Bursa Malaysia's website under the Company Announcements [section] when making their investment decision," the exchange said in a statement on Wednesday.

Hextar Technologies is an investment holding company, and its subsidiaries are engaged in the provision of total logistics services, which encompass the integration of shipping and land transportation.
