Emergence of new substantial shareholder in Green Packet

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 25): Green Packet Bhd saw the emergence of a new substantial shareholder, Datuk Seri Lim Kok Han, after acquiring an 18.33% direct stake in the company.

According to Green Packet’s filing, Lim has subscribed 358.18 million shares in the company via private placement on Tuesday (Oct 25).

The name of the registered holder of this block of shares is “Hong Seng Capital Sdn Bhd Pledged Securities Account for Lim Kok Han”.

It is worth noting that Lim had on Friday (Oct 21) become a substantial shareholder in MMAG Holdings Bhd and CSH Alliance Bhd, after acquiring 28.57% and 16.61% stakes respectively.

Green Packet shares gained half a sen to 4.5 sen on Tuesday, giving it a market capitalisation of RM72.14 million.
