Shahrizal Suhainy resigns as TH Plantations’ CFO

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 14): TH Plantations Bhd said Shahrizal Suhainy has resigned as its chief financial officer (CFO) to pursue other career opportunities.

“The board is currently taking the appropriate action to find a suitable candidate to replace Shahrizal as the CFO," the plantation arm of Lembaga Tabung Haji said in a bourse filing.

Shahrizal, 38, was appointed to the post on Oct 1 last year. On the same day, Mohamed Zainurin Mohamed Zain took over as TH Plantations’ chief executive officer.

Prior to joining TH Plantations, Shahrizal had served KPMG PLT in various positions since June 2007.

TH Plantations’ share price closed 2.97% or 1.5 sen lower to 49 sen on Monday (Nov 14), bringing the group a market capitalisation of RM433.1 million.
