KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 14): Digital health firm UCrest Bhd (KL:UCREST) said it has entered into a deal to provide artificial intelligence (AI)-powered digital transformation for a Singapore-listed healthcare group.
The company said the deal, valued at over S$1.5 million (RM4.93 million), will see UCrest incorporating AI and Internet of Things technologies into Singapore Paincare Holdings Ltd’s operations to improve efficiency.
"With the digital platform, Singapore Paincare will be able to offer services to more patients and relieve their pain," said UCrest in a bourse filing on Monday.
UCrest has entered into a three-year agreement with Singapore Paincare with an option for automatic renewal for an additional 24 months. UCrest will receive recurring and non-recurring fees for its services throughout the partnership period, the company said.
Singapore Paincare specialises in the treatment of chronic and degenerative pain. It operates five specialist centres, 10 general practitioner clinics, two physiotherapy centres, and a traditional Chinese medicine clinic. Its founder and chief executive officer is Dr Bernard Lee Mun Kam.
UCrest’s share price closed down 0.5 sen or 3.6% at 13.5 sen, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM100 million.
