Monday morning ... back to office, back to work. Back to planning for the week as many things will be back to the norm. Holiday is over, it was a 'long' holiday but we always feel it is short. Good times are short? Haha.

I was reading Jerome Tan's book about being a bankrupt and pulling himself up to become a millionaire. How many of us could actually pull ourselves from one extreme to another extreme? Yes, he mentioned many good pointers and I am listening.

One of it is our EGO. Yes, this is especially true in market-trading. Our ego actually hinders us from improving ourselves. I have always reminded myself about letting go of my ego IF i want to be successful. I have to remain humble. I will still want to listen to many 'know-how' and learn from them. Some are kind enough to share and we should be appreciative.

Yes, he said being gratitude bring wealth. Well, this is natural to me. I always appreciate things that I have, appreciate people who have help me in my lives, directly or indirectly. So, I am full with gratitude and whenever I can, I wish to help those who needed my assistance if it is possible.

Summary : "Letting go of our ego" to learn and "feeling gratitute" are two ingredients for us to move forward to be successful in any undertakings we are venturing into.

9.10 am : KLCI down 5 points.

SLV-c1 : Sold some 3k units at 0.74. Will see how far it could go. Well, I sold her at 0.74 two weeks ago, only to grab her back at 0.66 level. So, it is very volatile ...

10.10 am : KLCI still down, HKSE opening ...

MEGB : I queued at 1.15 this morning but it went up to 1.23, coming back to 1.18 vs 1.19. I will only check around 4.30pm to decide if I want to catch this knife.

Note : Never rush in to grab something that is shooting high in early trades.

Axiata : Cleared some at 4.68 done, it went down to 4.60.

Faber : Nope, nothing to do with Marc Faber. Haha ... touched 1.61. Stalk.

10.30 am : HSI down 475 points. With DOW down 250 points, the outlook could not be bullish, right?

Supermax : Yes ... come-on, superman Kent. Recovering from 2.80 to 2.90 now, we dont know if it could be sustained. It is said to be 'defensive'.

Denko : A new get-rich-fast stock in play ... touched a high of 0.54, at 0.45 now. Chasing? Crazy market-kaki, actually.

Beautiful numbers : It was 11.30 am just now, I saw ZhaoJin Mining with HKSE's code 1818 trading at 18.18, down 0.18 today!! Get the picture? How often do u watch stock movements? This is rare and beautiful. 18 is a good number for Chinese too.

CIMB : Added at 7.25 done. It touched 7.24, actually.

1.40 pm : KLCI still 3.40 points down, pulled by Genting and CIMB. At least PChem recovered.

CNOOC : Down 7% today due to the bad news "Penglai suspension will cut daily output by an extra 40,000 barrels .Share price plunges as oil field shutdown hurts company's output .May cut output target further as near-term restart is unlikely" . So, I am stalking her this morning due to the plunge.

2.05 pm : BAD NEWS ... HSI drops vertically after lunch break, losing 520 points now.

2.20 pm : HSI down 550 points now, not good for KLCI to open after lunch.

3.45 pm : HSI down 600 points with CNOOC down almost 10% today.

CIMB : Up to 3.38 now. Good.

4.55 pm : KLCI down 11 points.

Tenaga : It last minutes, done 500k x 4 = 2million units of Tenaga sold at 5.16. Interesting ...

6.30 pm : GOLD tested 1900 level just now. We might see gold at new high this week as stock-markets continue to be shaky.

ESSO : Yes, finally fell to RM3.50 level. That is the value given to her recently.

SIME : Bought 30% of E&O at high premium? Hmm ... Sime known to do some stupid decisions due to ... err ... suspicious of corruption? Smell fishy again.

Kencana : At 2.63, thought she is being valued at RM3 recently? What's up? What is wrong with valuations these days?

MudaJaya : At 2.59 ... what was her target price again?

Alam : At 0.73 now ... what was her target price again?

MEGB : At 1.20 ... showing some buyings today. What was her target price again?

Time to revise those HIGH target prices, analysts. Downgrading with some bad news la ... we dont really need too many excuses to do that. Everyone could understand the sentiments now ... bad. No one will blame those broker houses or remisiers, dont worry ... no one will blame the analysts too. After all, most retail traders and investors in KLSE are MATURED people who could blame themselves for being IGNORANT and EGOistic, right? Yeah right ...

If your remisier asked you to subscribe to ... hmm ... IPO of say, XOX, what will you do? Buy-la.

PresBhd : Recently, a reader attended my talk and told me that he knew nothing much about stock. So, unfortunately ... he called his remisier what to buy? The remisier asked him to subscribe to PresBhd!! Day one at 0.90 ... today at 0.505 and he is still holding. Why? His remisier asked him to hold?!!

You could only feel sorry for such situation. But, do you want to blame your remisier? He is not feeling the pain, just YOU. He has his commision done ... we get the consequences.

Conclusion : NEVER listen to your remisier, especially those without much experiences!!
