It is 2 am ... I just came back from teh-tarik session with my turtles.
Yes, I came from after classes from 9 am to 3 pm ... then, my trading class, talking from 7.30pm till 10.30 pm ... and continue my talk till 1 am. I am tired ... phew.
New turtles : Today I have three new ones. Hmm ... difficult to think if they are going to join my cohort-3(next Saturday, ok? lelong-lelong ... beli 5, free 1 class. Haha). Just a word, welcome.
My cohort-2 on next Friday will be learning the similar topic : Fear and Greed. Without a deep understanding of Fear and Greed , we could never trade well as traders are NOT supposed to be emotional. dont fall in love with your stocks, ya. Haha.
Will continue later ... I got class from 8am to 3pm. Yes, it is 2am + ....
Night .. DOW down 120 points now.
This quote is dedicated to ALL my
trading-students@turtles. Thanks for making my days more meaningful. This is just a beginning of my teaching adventure in trading!!
7.15 am : DOW down 240 points ... one of the reasons not to buy stocks on Friday? Yes, MS told me that one of his policy is not to buy stocks on Friday due to 'break' for weekend. Many do have that rule in their buying.
Introduction to my turtles (I)(in alphabetical order)
BL : A young turtle with science background and only less than half year in KLSE. Extremely hard-working and motivated to learn from me. He could do very well if I could guide him correctly. One of the person to be 'used' by me to help others in his group. Very diligent in his readings and asking for more homeworks to be given. Patience need to be cultivated in him.
CT : A veteran in KLSE but traded without charts. In learning to kick his old habits of punting and I do think he could do well in that aspect. Still very raw in charts and terms.
MS : An older turtle but with good character of learning. That will do him well as I do think that is one of the character needed to be a good trader. Slow(patience), discipline and continous learning attitudes. Will get the younger ones to help him in his charting.
PL : She is the vibrant aunty-turtle.(haha). With her around, the chat becoming so interesting!! Yes, kicking her old habits of listening to her many aunties-uncles stock-kaki who buy stocks through rumours and all those cheapest-active stocks in town. Old-habits die hard ... but with us around to remind her, guess she is listening. Need to help her in her charting too. Her vast experiences in listening to many talks will help those younger ones.
RR : A more quiet and preserve person but started to show interests in our conversations. Do need help in charting too as KLSE is considered new to him.
SP : A veteran in KLSE too ... and being a senior(age wise) in our group, he could share many stories about other courses he heard of and attended. Older people do need help in chartings. Wiht his vast experiences of attended courses, talks and such ... we could gain from his knowledge on that.
Introduction of my turtles (II) :1.
AC : A young-punter kaki in KLSE for years now. Willingness to change his punting-habit will do him a whole world of good and will want to see him learn to plan before a trade. And trade with a proper chart-indicators will help too.
2.
EK : A young-busy colleague of mine(teaching Maths too). Perseverance is needed to maintain the interest in learning trading and I will continue to motivate him.
3.
HK : A friend of AC with similar habits and will like to see both helping each other to kick the punting habits.
4.
Jess: A lady(from Sabah!!) who is new to charting and delighted to learn about trading. She said I am certainly the 'best' and cheap(what? I will increase the fees soon. haha). Brought a friend of hers to be my new turtle!! One of my few roses here.
5.
LK : A young man who has been using charts and indicators for a year, yet still feel he is learning a lot from me(teh-tarik on me!! haha). A huge potential to do well as he is dedicated(travelled all the way from Rawang) in his investing-trading activities. One of the potential to be used by me to help others with their chartings too.

7. SAM :
8. YWC :
Yes, I will have to start to create a file and compile some details from them as the group growing bigger. With my cohort-3 coming into picture next Saturday, I will be having about 20+ of them then.
Facebook (LOL) by Dalihttp://malaysiafinance.blogspot.com/2009/12/facebook-makes-me-mad-sometimes.htmlI enjoyed it more when he writes about non-financial issues. Haha ... yes, facebook could be used as a platform to communicate and sharing. It could also be a nuisance. Haha.
