All the writings in this weblog are mainly for PLEASURE reading purposes. I am in NO position to recommend a call(BUY/SELL). Please check with those know-hows before you make a decision. Yes, I am just a learner, with only five years experiences in KLSE. So, please BEAR with me.
ENG : Dived ... to close at 1.80 and my young tratle sent me an e-mail regarding it. I will reply him here. He has a good point here. Not bad for a young learner.

To start with, he told me about Alex's write-up about ENG. The bad news in good company is a good news to BUY. So, it is worth checking out. Agreed.

It has touched 1.75, so ... queueing should be at 1.70 and if you are going to hold it till the offer price of RM2.50, then, be prepared to buy more at 1.62 level. Yes, averaging down as you are the 'investor'? That is not trading but while many shooting higher, I wont mind looking into her.

Tech-stocks are recovering? I dont know as I have abandoned the whole sector for quite a long time now ... being a trader, I will need to follow trends and the downtrending stocks(in unfavoured sector) may not be what I want to be in. In-play is the key word for traders.

So, NM ... there you are. My brief opinion ... read Alex's and make your own opinion(s). Yes, wait for another black candle-stock and if possible, grab at 1.60-1.62 level(that is me la ... lowering the RISK la). If I miss her and she rebounds next week, I will NOT chase.

RISK and REWARD

Our education system FAILED to educate us!!

To start with, let us take this statistic SERIOUSLY. 80% of did not profit/gain from markets!! Then, think logically .... WHY? Why are we adding to the statistics? WHY those going to retire(or retirees) choosing KLSE to trade? WHY the young ones(yuppies) also jump into stock-markets? WHY ...? May I know why? Can we analyse why?

KNOWLEDGE ... without it could be VERY expensive. We all heard of those saying 'high risk high rewards"  and for sure, I will disagree. Market itself is RISKY in nature. So, many novices went into markets WITHOUT knowing that market is a risky place without knowing how market works or looking for quick-money!! WRONG mentality to be in market.

We CANNOT go into stock-markets without knowing that it is RISKY. Read the statistics AGAIN ... what is your chance to profit from your stocks if you are NEW to market? 10% or less, I guarantee you that. You may have the beginner's luck ... but in long run(10 years?), you will lose money ... and your luck is running out. Dont believe me, please. Try it out. Pay the 'tuition fees' to the markets!!

Tuition-fees ... hmm... many said about that too. YOu mean, after losing a few trades, they will learn? WHAT?? Learn? We Malaysians love to learn? You must be kidding me. I have been teaching for 20+ years to bright students of Malaysian's brain ... and you expect those average or below ... to learn? WHAT again? Trading and investing(or punting or whatever terms la) also need to learn meh? WHAT? Say again ... I cant hear you la.

Believe me ... MAJORITY of Malaysians DO NOT want to learn. When they took exams during their school-days, they are either FORCED to study(History, Sciences, Economics ... name it) or the best, they were told that the SPM or STPM certs are NEEDED to further their studies!! We need that as a passport to enter univeristy, to get the degree(or Master  or ... you name it) ... so that we could come out to WORK and be employees!! Then, repay back your debts ...blah blah ... what?? AGAIN ... you do not study your Chemistry because you love knowledge, you want to know about ionic-bonds. You want to know how what-add-what becoming what and why these things happen and such. Do you understand how our education system work? We are NOT allowed to think beyond the syllabus!!

You see, if I am going to teach something extra .. students may want to ask "Sir, is this in our syllabus? Will it come out in exams?". There you are ... an honest answer about our learning. Sir, I cant get the answers given at the back of our book!! Very common ... so common that learning is NOT in their mind. THINK again ... do you know why? Yes, because RESULTS is everything. We are honouring those with all the A in their subjects!! Heck, it is becoming to easy to get A1 la. Gone were the days that getting A1 in Add Maths or an A in Further Maths showing you are really good in your Maths. Today ... students DO NOT learn. They are geared to get A, to enable them to go to Uni ... and throw away(almost immediately) whatever they have memorized after exams. Yes, they absorbed the 'knowledge' by memorising ... plus the TIPS or TRICKS on answering techniques(those UPSR, PMR, SPM seminars by so-called examiners are FULL ... packed and some being FORCED to go by their parents. It is a MUST in this society ... lets be kiasu and stupid and get more As).

TIPS ... yes, do you know WHY those stock-picking meeting will be packed? That is how our EDUCATION system works ... and you are PART of it. You are LAZY to study for knowledge, to do your own readings(of coz u read from forums or such to know tips to buy a stock. Or of coz you ask your remisier(haha) or ask those few bloggers?). TIP = Think in Probability. That is my TIP.

So ... do think about it today, next week ... next month. WHY will you not profit from markets BUT insisted to be in the game?

You took 3-4-5-6 years for your degree(s), but you do not even take a few months to learn about markets before buying/selling stocks!! AMAZING ... you are just the success story of our education system!! No logic, no senses ... I am not blaming you, I am sadden with the FACT and it is due to our EDUCATION system ... we do NOT cultivate learning in our society. We are too lazy and want things given to us or we are always in the 'lost' state. What is next?

A Maths graduate does not mean he/she can teach Maths well, ok? A Master holder in Maths is worst!! They cant teach Maths, for sure. That is our education system la. Malaysia boleh ...

Getting back to RISK in stock market ... do you understand that we stand NO(or little) chance against the buaya or sharks? Do you know that you are EXPOSED to a VERY high risk instrument going into markets without knowledge? Even with knowledge(those reading all the books, blogs ... blah blah ... wont do well too) but without experiences, many will still move into their perut? Think about RISK, please. Protect yourself from RISK first. Dont even mention about profits ... for first two years or so!! Crude and Cold ... that is market. Not me.

http://www.stophungernow.org/

I was a 'machine' ... a box-packaging machine working in a fast-pace with a colleague, sealing hundreds of boxes to be used to put 36-bags of dry-food which being packed by other operating-lines. Yes, like a factory packaging things to be ship out. We have a container to fill and send directly to Port Klang!! One-million packages of dry-food in a day. Heard that is a record out of USA.

While millions of them died and dying due to hunger, there are abundant of food on our tables. We, the luckier lots, easily taken food provided for granted. After all, we do not need to DIE due to hunger!! Even if I go bankrupt one day(due to market crash?), I will still not be in hunger --- I could send SOS to my readers to provide me RM1 per month(each) for my food or perhaps I could work in KFC for some money and food? FOOD never in shortage in our country. Do click the website above and see if you could help in any way.  Thanks.

Thank GOD for the food. Thanks.

Thought : When I was very busy doing my packaging, I was reflected on HOW selfish many of us in Malaysia are ... we are more concern if our ONE stock in KLSE would go up or down!! Gosh ... how tiny our world could be!!

6 pm : It is SUNDAY ... time to think a little about some of my experiences with my current trading-teaching. Actually, I am NOT teaching them trading for the first 5-modules. I am teaching them the TERMS. That was my main motive ... as everyone need to speak the similar language before I could slowly(3 to 6 months) include some indicators, when to use what and when we cannot to use what!! That is the confusing part of trading. It is not merely technical, trading involve fundamentals of the whole markets, stocks(globally too), news, politics ... everything to weigh the RISK.

Statistics : This week my readership(unique) dropped to 6750 level. The average used to be 7100. Well, guess when market is dropping, many started to ignore their portfolios. And nothing much to buy due to the huge correction and volatility. Hence, many are out of markets!!

I am going to rest ... by scanning thru some charts. If I could find anything interesting, I might post it here.

ENO or ENG : If I am not feeling so well, I shall go for ENO. But if I am free, I might grab ENG. Haha ...

Penang and Johore : I do think of going to Penang and Johore in DEC for holiday. Hence, I might want to organise a market-talk(RM60 per person?) for about 4 hours. Any readers interested? I do have 3 requests from Penang and 2 from Johore so far ...

night.

Thailand's government has expressed confidence that the capital
Bangkok will escape the worst of the country's current flooding.

Agriculture Minister Theera Wongsamut said there were "good signs" that water levels on the city's key Chao Phraya river would rise no higher.

So we could see better pricing now perhaps. So I guess that the time to buy is now. Once flood subsided, price is no more cheap lol

would the flood situation in thailand have so much impact on klse prices ???

actually there is nothing to do with the share price on KLSE, cause from the begining they have informed that this counter will be delisted after capital repayment . No matter is high to 3.00 or low to 1.00 , as long as the deal is sail through ....
