KLCI up 16 points. Many are flying high ... yes, finally, we are in the first-leg up into the bull-market again. Yeah ... finally, making money is easy!! Hurray ... more free lunches, teh-tariks and dinner for me as my tratles profitting?? Yeah ... I am wearing green ... change the 'n' into 'd', you will get GREED. Hmm ...
Market Talk : I will like to share with many(readers and their friends?) a simple common sense I used to go for short technical rebounds(success rate is quite high so far!!). What to look for and how do we prepare ourselves for such a situation!! I believe it is worth your RM70 per session. Just one session of 2.5 hours. Interested? Those in Klang Valley could contact me at
cpteh@yahoo.com (with hp no la, if possible) and I will arrange the talk(at Subang Jaya here) when I have at least 5 of them. The time should be Saturday Night. DO let me know as soonest ... Thanks.
SOLD : Masteel at 1.18 done and Ivory at 0.895. These two gave me small free dinners.
Strategy : When market is bullish as such, there is another common-sense trades I am doing!! Hehe ... I am the 'lucky' one who have experiment with many strategy and coming out with few which works well for me!! This strategy would be shared in one of my market-talk too. Hehe ...
Genting : Moving above RM10 today ... I told my cohort-3 last week that RM10 is a level to watch. If you have bought into her during the recent correction, RM10 could be a profit taking level. If you bought in a huge amount, perhaps you may want to clear half of it, keeping half for breaking out of RM10 level.
I am a trader, not the buy-n-hold type. I do shift my funds from a sector to another. The RISK is higher at the moment, I will not chase but using a different approach now. That is called 'flexibility' in play. Hmm ... talking about that, it takes knowledge and courage to execute these strategies effective. For novices(like me), need to trade with caution.
Facebook : PersonalHAH : Hi Teh, I come across your blog by chance while surfing the net for Stock Investing knowledge. Nice to know there is still unselfish people like you willing to share good investment ideas and knowledge. Keep up the Good work. May you be successful Good health peace and Happy. Kind Rgds HAH

KS : CP, great to be connected. I have just started learning on trading stocks and do find your blog meaningful. Keep sharing and God Bless You.
TEH : Welcome, sir. It is one of the objective of my blog, to share and educate the KLSE-kaki about what market is, what a stock is ... what analysis there is, how to use what strategies with our analysis(FA, TA, PA, EA, NA, AA = RA) ... and yes, I will continue to share with all here. God bless.
Facebook ... you may want to add me, let me know you are my reader and I will approve it. No worry. That is my personal e-mail ... you will get what song I am playing now(Keane's this morning ... haha) and also many of my students. Yes, I may NOT have time to reply to each and individual e-mail and facebook could be a good way I reply. I have too many back-log in my e-mails.
My nick ... err ... you kidding me? Since when I change to any other nick? Hmm ... I am a REAL person la. Haha.
By year end, I will do trimming ... yes, deleting those dormant, those collecting dust in my facebook list. I do have member-only facebook. That is for my tratles who are learning TA from my current classes.
YTLLand : At 1.22 now ... hai-ya .. hai-yo ... sell too early again la. Gone with my nice dinners!!
Naim : Grabbing her today, moving above 1.86
3.10 pm : Announcement of a bull-rally ... yeah ... KLCI up 14 points. Everybody is earning money right? Wait a minute ... how about those didnt cut off many of their holdings and no bullets to shoot one-two weeks ago? So, as market rebounds VERY strongly, many still not back to their BREAKEVEN points, ok? They are still HOPING for their stocks to be back to breakeven --- loss aversion psychology --- in play. How to trade like that?
Naim : I posted in my tratle's Facebook this morning when I grabbed Naim at 1.85-1.88 level. It was very fast at 1.84 level, and couldnt get ... but topping up as it moves along ... at 1.97 now. Watch.
Steve Jobs and the 7 Rules of SuccessBy Carmine Gallo | Entrepreneur ' Fri, Oct 14, 2011 2:36 PM EDT
Over the years, I've become a student of sorts of Jobs' career and life. Here's my take on the rules and values underpinning his success. Any of us can adopt them to unleash our "inner Steve Jobs."
1.
Do what you love.
Jobs once said, "People with passion can change the world for the better." Asked about the advice he would offer would-be entrepreneurs, he said, "I'd get a job as a busboy or something until I figured out what I was really passionate about." That's how much it meant to him. Passion is everything.
TEH : Yes, passion in TEACHING. That is in me ... otherwise, I coud not explain why I am not bored teaching Maths for past 20+ years and still looking forward for my next day!! Same as my trading class now, I am being paid to do what I love doing!! Isnt that great? Many giving me the 'thanks' for sharing in this blog here ... hmm ... I am just doing what I love doing --- blogging and sharing of opinions!!
2.
Put a dent in the universe.
Jobs believed in the power of vision. He once asked then-Pepsi President, John Sculley, "Do you want to spend your life selling sugar water or do you want to change the world?" Don't lose sight of the big vision.TEH : No comment on this one. I am too small.
3.
Make connections.
Jobs once said creativity is connecting things. He meant that people with a broad set of life experiences can often see things that others miss. He took calligraphy classes that didn't have any practical use in his life -- until he built the Macintosh. Jobs traveled to India and Asia. He studied design and hospitality. Don't live in a bubble. Connect ideas from different fields.
TEH :
4.
Say no to 1,000 things. Jobs was as proud of what Apple chose not to do as he was of what Apple did. When he returned in Apple in 1997, he took a company with 350 products and reduced them to 10 products in a two-year period. Why? So he could put the "A-Team" on each product. What are you saying "no" to?
5.
Create insanely different experiences. Jobs also sought innovation in the customer-service experience. When he first came up with the concept for the Apple Stores, he said they would be different because instead of just moving boxes, the stores would enrich lives. Everything about the experience you have when you walk into an Apple store is intended to enrich your life and to create an emotional connection between you and the Apple brand. What are you doing to enrich the lives of your customers?
6.
Master the message. You can have the greatest idea in the world, but if you can't communicate your ideas, it doesn't matter. Jobs was the world's greatest corporate storyteller. Instead of simply delivering a presentation like most people do, he informed, he educated, he inspired and he entertained, all in one presentation.
7.
Sell dreams, not products. Jobs captured our imagination because he really understood his customer. He knew that tablets would not capture our imaginations if they were too complicated. The result? One button on the front of an iPad. It's so simple, a 2-year-old can use it. Your customers don't care about your product. They care about themselves, their hopes, their ambitions. Jobs taught us that if you help your customers reach their dreams, you'll win them over.
There's one story that I think sums up Jobs' career at Apple. An executive who had the job of reinventing the Disney Store once called up Jobs and asked for advice. His counsel? Dream bigger. I think that's the best advice he could leave us with. See genius in your craziness, believe in yourself, believe in your vision, and be constantly prepared to defend those ideas.
