UOADev : Looking at 1.40, current level again. Just sold her at 1.50 that day and it is back to the level I grabbed her. So, I am interested to grab her again.
'YTLLand : Still in play ... at 50MA. Waiting at 1.01-1.04 again.
Stock-watch : These charts will be posted in my "CP Trading Group" in facebook. It is NOT really a stock pick(as I do not believe that anyone could tell you what to buy/sell at what level) but stocks that I will like to buy for the week. Yes, I am a short term trader, taking 5-10% profits and cut loss about 2-3%. My logic is that with a rate of 7-8 trades profitting, it will cover my 2-3 trades which I have to cut loss.
So far, I think I only lost in Coastal(bought 1.93, cut 1.90) and BJCorp(bought 1.03, cut 0.995) for these months. Some contra day-trades, I do not jot it down here.
So, the stock watch is for those trusted my analysis and may want to take the positions. It is not a stock pick, I am not going to explain my analysis and such. Just merely telling you some stocks I am looking at and stalking. There are many I did not put it here in my blog.
Buy at your own risk. I will also write about my opinions in certain stocks asked. So, if you want my opinions on certain stocks(those e-mail and comment), you can subscribe to me. It is RM30 per month only la. These stocks will also the stocks discussed with my tratles(not e-tratles).
10.00 am : KLCI in green ... I am wearing green.
1.00 pm : KLCI in slight red but PROTON continues it good run ... with the rumours of take0ver hanging now. Good for trading.
UOADev : Grabbed at 1.40 done this morning.
Financial Mindset chat
PT and EK : I pulled two of my young tratle(my colleagues too) to have a talk to them about financial mindset. Change that mindset of yours about money, stock-markets etc etc ... as these lecturers or teachers are NOT good in this area --- financial mindset. You see, we lecturers are teaching or working for
1. Fixed salary ... averagely lower but secured. Security with what most lecturers are looking for. A consistent increments(tho small) and bonuses(1-2 months) are considered good, with EPF giving us the security for 'old-age'. These employee mentalities are in most teachers, lecturers and academicians.
2. Passion for education --- I falled into this category, dedicated and happily teaching my students. Their improvements and good results are my pride. Their appreciation is my joy!! But, no monetary gains in my financial gains ... but I am still motivated to teach .. for 20 years plus now?
3. Promotion : This is another reason some into office-politics and taking up Masters. Yes, to get a grade better than their colleagues and also to get a better salary. This is a normal mindset for teachers(or office workers and such).
4. Tuition : To supplement our lower income, we have to give tuition as our part-time job. Those establish ones are happily teaching as they have the markets --- students will recommend their friends and so on. The current rate at RM100-RM120 per hour is good. So, this is encouraged but ... there are still many reluctant to give tuitions or lazy to do anything extra. They must be RICH enough or most probably do not have the mindset to earn more, save and invest. They will maintain as lecturer till they realise about their income ... and improve themselves. MOst of them WONT.
So, I do see my colleagues playing with the facebook's games, with soccer-managing games, listening to songs(like me) for hours, watching HK-dramas ... in their extra time. Of coz they work hard too in their teaching job ... preparations, teaching, marking etc etc. But ... most of them DO NOT bother to think about how to utilise their extra time to improve themselves in KNOWLEDGE wise related to money. Their minds are closed, and yes ... I was one of them. I am a pure idiot when it comes to money, merely 6 years ago? I was one of them ... always waiting for the salary by month end.
Moving away from the circle of 'people' with similar mentalities is DIFFICULT. We tend to move in herds ... we tend to do what normal people will do ... WASTING TIME.
Gossips and empty chats could be heard over the pantry or staff-lounge. Many will complains and share their 'stories'. Many are in facebook ... spending time chatting. Otherwise will surf some websites of their interests or their subject related.
Conclusion : Teachers are NOT good investors or traders as their mindsets are too RIGID, too NARROW and too academically inclined. They do not like RISK and also very easy to stay in their comfort zone. No need to tell them about share-markets as you will be viewed as CON-man or Gamblers if they dont know you well. Do not give advices to them regarding stocks too. They will failed BADly due to their mindset. Yup, I admit that teachers are not financially trained to think out-of the box. They are better be left to do what they are doing best ... to teach. We do need to thank these teachers as they are the one who impart knowledge to us.
3.05 pm : KLCI is flat ...
TSH : Well, just re-priced after 1-1 bonus issue. So, I am stalking her.
Malton-wb : Well, I openly told my tratles in our facebook that I bought at 0.34-0.345(also in the blog last week?) and as it retraces, I collected more at 0.33-0.335. It is at 0.36 now. Of coz you will say I am bull-shitting, I am luck or whatever. I admit I am lucky. Thanks.
Malton-wb : Sold my 0.33-0.335 portion at 0.37 done moments ago. Yup, waited for a week for the breakout.
Shared by YongProfessional trader and money manager Russell Sands describes the makeup of a successful trader: "Intelligence alone does not make a great trader. Success is equal parts of intellect, applied psychology, practice, discipline, bankroll, self-understanding and emotional control."
Furthermore, to be successful you don't have to invent some complex approach that only a nuclear physicist could understand. In fact, successful trading plans tend to be simple. They follow the general principles of correct trading in a more or less unique way.

It not not sure it is the right time. I dont predict or forecast. What I do, I grabbed her at 1.40, going below 1.36, I will I cut her off for a loss. But the rewards could be good? I really dont know. We watch the prices, then. Do not follow, it is risk to follow blindly without your own plans.
