All the writings in this weblog are mainly for PLEASURE reading purposes. I am in NO position to recommend a call(BUY/SELL). Please check with those know-hows before you make a decision. Yes, I am just a learner, with only five years experiences in KLSE. So, please BEAR with me.
These will be the reminders as for myself ... well, New Year is around the corner and many are 'busy' writing their LOOONG list of New Year's resolutions and it is a yearly "event". I do re-write my goals and pointers that I want to improve(to progress further) myself. So, before we could push ourselves into such optimism(in which, MANY will fade away ... believe me, it is only HUMAN) ... I was reflecting on my weaknesses. Yes, so much more to do ... so much rooms for improvements and desire to excel in the things I am embarking on.

Stay Frugal

This is what I was pondering about as I have been using lots of money for the past 2 months, shifting into my own apartment. It is an achievement in my own sense. Yes, if I have to reflect on merely 5 years ago, I was financially tight. Today, at least I could afford to do something 'extra'(like placing the nice cornice!!).

I am still reminding myself to be frugal ... I am still living below my means!! Yes, I may have changed a few of my items(like 21" inch 20-year-old TV into 32" latest LED TV or my 4-year-old pc into this latest one!!), but I want to be alert of my spending!! I need to be in control and not get things out-of-hands. Yes, I still believe in living in simple manner. I told my wife that ... even one day, if I do well in my trading-business, I will still maintain my so-called lifestyle. Nothing change much ... honestly. Nothing should change!!

What living frugally is for one person may differ from another, right?

For example, I am a practical person. If I need a car to drive, I will go for the cheapest and affordable one --- yup, our own Proton Saga. I am still using my RM50 handphone tho there is a pressing need now to upgrade to the so-called smart-phone. Nope, I do not think so by having a smart-phone is smart, but it fact it will dent my wallet. Talking about wallet, I do need a new one as mine is koyak-koyak and my wife was telling me that a man should not be using a koyak-wallet. Hmm ... it has been with me for 5 years now!! It was a gift from my mom-in-law(yup, I treasured things people gave me!!) ... and it is still usable. After listening to my wife, I will be buying a new wallet for new year!! Can I get the pasar-malam one? My wife giving me that 'you are so kiam-siap' look. Haha

I am still a practical person ... I dont see the needs of having many things. Not even a new working shoe which is in 'not nice' look anymore. I dont see the needs to have material items!! Am I trying to live frugally or am I just being myself ... simple.

I hope I could continue to work to improve myself, increase my income and by maintaining my frugal way of living, I could save and invest more, to acquire some wealth. I have read that many-many rich people are living below their means and frugality is the way of living healthy and wealthy!!

Stay Humble

Now, I did some self-check on my ego ... is my head getting bigger? Yes, it is very important that we should maintain humility ... a very important essence to push ourselves into the next level. Yes, I always feel so humbled by so many sifus or experts around. They are good in their own analysis and fields. Hence, I never want anyone to call me sifu as I am still far behind. Nevertheless, in lives ... we still should remain humble. We might be voted the best lecturer or employee of the year, if we are not humble enough ... we may not progress. Once we think we are so-called the best, our progress or improvements will slow down. It is a nature of law ...

You cant teach those who already think they knew so much or better than you, can you? So, I always make a point to LEARN LEARN LEARN ... from everyone, including while teaching my tratles!! I do learn new things each week from them!! While attending some talks and meeting some readers, I do learn from them!! While reading more books or articles, I do improve in the way I see things!! Yes, keeping our mind open to learn ... that is being humble!!

Once we get our ego at the high-end, we stop learning. Nothing will go into our heads as we are too good for many to point it to us. Yup, I do welcome pointers ... as we learn by sharing!! Dont you think so?

Stay Hungry

e-learning : I have 40 registered so far. My target of 50 might be realised by next week? Those who have registered but have not recieved my invitation, please let me know. Thanks.

stock-watch : There are few enquiries ... so, I will start to e-mail those interested today. Those still interested, let me know. So far, 3 registered!!

e-learning vs stock-watch

There were questions regarding the differences. Of coz it is VERY different!! For my e-learning(of basic TA), one will constantly learning through some posts of charts and indicators discussed. For feedbacks, I will use facebook where learners could post questions and others could learn from their questions-answers too. It is a two-way traffic!!

As for stock-watch, I will only write what I am looking at, what stocks worth stalking but buying-selling is fully your responsibilities. It is just as what I have written there under stock-watch. No reply on analysis and such. It is RM30 per month only and I will be too busy discussing about the charts!!

9.50 am : KLCI down 10 points.

EnVair : cut-loss yesterday, grabbed back this morning. ouch. haha Gamblers do not change their stripes. Hehe

Proton : The story is far from over ... will still in play and I want to ride on my Saga.

10.45 am : KLCI at 1460, another 40 points away from breaking 1500. It touched slightly above that recently. KLCI's losers are : Gamuda and MISC, which will be taken out from the top30? Wow ... how about AMMB down to 5.70 level? That is technically expected. Watch at 5.55 level again.

PLUS : Will be taken out too ...

Benalec : Sold 1.41 and back to 1.34 now. Looking at below 1.30 now.

YTLLand : Still hover slightly above RM1 for collection?

WTHorse : At 1.69 today, grabbed at 1.61. Will only sell when volumes surging in due to dividends.

Muhibah : Going into RM1 too ... watch.

Note : I do profit more when I trade longer time frame. Short contra or intraday losing me money or the profit is much smaller. Well, it is because I do not place high positions for short-trades!!

meeting : Tonight will be my 3rd meetings with my tratles of cohort-1-2. yeah ... the last one for this year and seeing them again new year!! There are currently 12 of them.

3.15 pm : I am home ... today is the last day of office but brought back 80+ sheets of exam papers to mark!! That is my weekend plus tuition classes and trading classes on. Busy.

UOADev : Just sold for a small loss at 1.38, at 1.31 today. Nice ... I want her back at cheaper price. Hehe

PChem : Finally showing weaknesses. Testing RM6 now. So, I sold at 6.02-6.04 half of it today.

KLCI down 15 points now. EURO down-grade fear or election fear? HSI down 550 points. ouch.

Malton-wb : Back to 0.34 in matter of days!! If me and my tratle, CT did not sell at 0.40 level and it is back to our level now, we do not profit at all and might even lose the trade. SHORT-trades are meant to be short, profit-or-loss. Should I grab back? Wait.

5.10 pm : KLCI 12.79 points lower today. HSI down 520 points.

preparing for my meeting.

off.

hahaha....still far far away compare to the ordinary "onmore" whom (most of them) are humble, highly qualify and down to earth. I remember that an old englishman driving an old ford car (car in the 1940's) parked infront of the 5 stars hotel side by side along with the highly profile mercedes benz and BMW and was requested by the attendance to park elsewhere. He ignored the parking attendance and when straight to the dinning place. Next what happen to the englishman........

Such a luxury poshe place that the englishman is having dinner with the Hotel owner. U got money doesn't means U have to show off and please be humble. Remember always take 2 steps backward..Cherios
