Hi All,
I just wonder ... outside seem like a lot of courses regarding investing in stock market either TA or FA or forex or whatever..
They all claimed that their course can give consistent earning and how to make profit and a lot of promises.. If really that is the case, they already can earn a lot by using their knowledge, why they still need to charge so expensive? Don't you think if they really so pro, and their knowledge can let all people get consistent earning, IF they want raise their "fund", sure everyone will support?
...
I am still new, just wonder.. pls correct me.. thanks..
.... if they unable to make trading easy (It means they not pro enough right?).. then they shouldn't promise us anything in the purpose to get "free-risk-money" from newbie.. and most of them said already involved more than 10yrs.. It also means after 10 years.. they still think "trading to make money is difficult with risks".. then how can we put faith on them to earn money from market? Like what you said, take years to be confident.. It also means..first, we sure lose capital to "MR teacher" then second, lose capital to "MR market" and slowly gain experience maybe after 10yrs(if able) to get back what we lose...
It is because middle class like most of us.. just grad.. capital not much.. salary also gam gam cukup makan.. and no so much capital to pay for extra courses bcoz no guaranteed return.. then i guess.. follow Mr XXX method, attend free preview classes will be better or learn more from investors/traders from here.. right?

The above is asked by a newbie ... I seldom read forums, but click on the page, at least something different. Not about stocks or whatever. It is about NEWBIES ... asking about trading courses!!
HL : They all claimed that their course can give consistent earning and how to make profit and a lot of promises.. If really that is the case, they already can earn a lot by using their knowledge, why they still need to charge so expensive?
I used to ask such questions about 3-4 years ago. I wish they do have a course conducted in Sabah ... so that I could attend the trading courses. From what I read then, trading courses only available in few places, such as Klang Valley, Penang and JB(Spore). And it costs thousands of dollars for FEW days!!
So, naturally ... I will ask ... should I attend any of those courses? I was losing thousands in market(2008 ... I was a newbie ... started from ground zero too) ... and should I be using few more thousands those trading courses? If they are so good, why do they need to teach? Yeah ... why so expensive?
It will be long if I have to elaborate further .... basically, I will say "YES" ... if you are a total newbie or even at novice levels, you SHOULD attend those trading courses. They are professionally run ... they could give you guidance and supports. They have license and paper-qualifications to show? Hmm ...
I will repeat ... those courses could shorten your LEARNING curves and I m assuming that one want to learn. MANY attended those trading course, thinking could get rich quick and looking for the trainer/sifu for tips. How naive and un-realistic, right?
Investing and Trading course
Last AUG ... it was my first step of creating my own trading class. I was a little frustrated then ... why would they charge normal people like us thousands for learning few indicators or systems. WHY? I do have requests previously if I am willing to 'teach' trading but I have always 'postponed' it, citing busy(I am ... ok?) as the excuse. But my frustrations getting over me ... some asking me to help them. I am a teacher in NATURE. I like teaching ... I like what I am doing. The only thing stopping me is that I DO NOT want to be seen as 'sifu' or 'guru'. I just merely want to help those needed to learn simple basic technical indicators such as moving average, RSI, MACD ... something simple. MAKE IT SIMPLE is my point ... so, I do not cover so many others indicators.
Why am I teaching trading if I 'claimed' I am good? I never claim I am good, if you do catch me doing that ... shoot me, and I will apologise. I will see myself turning down in my learning curve once I m not humble enough to learn from so many. It is just my desire to share ... I hv been consistently posting it here ... for 3years now ... sharing with many what I m reading and what I am learning.
Note : New readers really need to read my Aug2011 posts to see how I started my trading class. It is accidental, actually.
It is through appreciation of many of my members(called tratles-group now) that I continue to have my cohort-2 ... to cohort-6 now. Teaching trading is VERY difficult. I m very cheaply as I am a teacher!! I want to help ... and we learn togther concept here. They becoming my friends, we joke ... and chat online on our facebook. Anyway, today ... I am so glad I hv our group. I never want to use MY group as it is not mine.
One thing is for sure ... without knowledge and experiences, most could not survive markets. It is THAT difficult. It will take about another 5 more years for me to get out of novice levels!! I am not sure about others ...
Trading is NEVER easy ... so, if there is a program or a software claiming that you just need a few clicks away to profit from markets, that is bull-shit. Face it ... REALITY.
What did I share with my group ...? Do not lose too much of money, sucked inside it ... and when we have the extra knowledge and experience by then, when opportunities are aplenty, we could not buy! So, RISK is being discussed ... RISK management is becoming more important than profit making.
Knowing that 80% losing money is THAT important. Knowing about RISK is much more important here .... rather than what majority speaking about profit here and there. Crap.
Today ... someone asked a VERY good candid question about trading courses. Perhaps more of us here have attended those courses could reflect IF they worth the money!! Which trading course(s) have you attended? Worth your money or otherwise? Why?
Would you advise a newbie to attend trading courses? What is cheap in our sense ... or perhaps, many think of free-lunches?
THINK!!
I am not promoting mine or against any trading courses. I still personally feel that those who could afford the thousands SHOULD go for those courses(not those get-rich-quick ads, please). If you can't afford it, keep some bullets first ... read and learn. If I m free, I do answer questions. Many good experienced people who are willing to share their knowledge too. Get to know them ... learn and learn.
Thanks HL for allowing me to post your questions. With such LOGICAL questions, I do believe you will do well.
