NEW YORK, Sept. 5 -- Oil prices inched down on Thursday.
The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery dropped 5 cents, or 0.07 percent, to settle at 69.15 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for November delivery lost 1 cent, or 0.01 percent, to settle at 72.69 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
