The mother of political circuses rolled into Kuala Lumpur and has now left. Leaders from all UMNO divisions – an estimated 6,000 – attended the meeting together with over 1,500 media representatives and foreign guests and observers. The ring master, Prime Minister and UMNO President Dato' Seri Najib Razak must have been pleased at the outcome. Obedient and dutiful official media accounts assessed it to be a great success and to have solidified support for his great leadership.
But was it a great triumph? Or was it a bomb?
Firstly, UMNO members and the public expected Najib to answer questions relating to 1MDB and the US$680 million deposit. Secondly, the GA was the first party event since the removal of Muhyiddin Yassin and Shafie Apdal as Malaysia's deputy prime minister and rural and regional development minister. They held positions in the party as deputy president and vice-president respectively. Muhyiddin according to long standing UMNO convention should have officiated at the Youth, Women and Puteri meetings where he was expected to share his concerns of the party's future and the tainted leadership of Najib with other delegates and the country.
So what actually happened on these highly anticipated revelations?
Nothing, yes nothing! I am not the only one with this opinion. Dr. Mahathir has pronounced himself “very disappointed” with Najib's assembly speech and noted it ‘focused and limited’ to Najib defending himself with the president claiming “he is a gentleman, magnanimous, brave, not a coward and will not surrender.”
Does a brave, magnanimous gentleman muzzle his deputy?
In fact Najib said a lot more which Dr. Mahathir left out.
In a closed door session with key UMNO delegates, UMNO's President is reported to have scolded delegates who questioned the massive amount of money deposited in his personal account. His story: it was used entirely to finance the party's delegates and supporters during the 2013 elections.
No doubt, Najib is the son of the former Prime Minster, Tun Razak, who lived a simple life and whose good name has not been tarnished by allegations of corruption or misuse of public and party funds. But having a father's good name does not mean one gets total immunity.
Come on, US$680 million or nearly RM3 billion by yesterday's foreign currency exchange rate is not chicken feed. Surely there must be some kind of accounting needed as to where the money has gone to, how much was spent, how much is left, etc.
Now if I was a delegate at the GA meeting, I, and I am sure, any other sensible Malaysian who is not a UMNO member, would have asked and demanded that the party President provide answers to the questions regarding who received the money and how much and so on.
I would have started off by saying: “Give us the truth; no lying and no beating around the bush.”
Unfortunately, especially for the foreign guests and international media, not only did UMNO's President beat around the bush on 1MDB and the mysterious gigantic donation into his personal account, but he tried to distract the delegates by devoting a key part of his speech to attacking the DAP and playing crude racial politics.
Together with his hatchet woman, Shahrizat Jalil, whose name will forever be blackened and burdened by the Cowgate scandal, Najib deliberately used his national platform to engage in the outrageous political targeting of the DAP
I am not a DAP party member and hence will not engage in defence of the opposition party. It is also best that members of the Chinese community leave it to non-Chinese citizens of the country to rebut Najib and Shahrizat.
Here is one Malay rebuttal which needs to be translated and shared with all members attending that GA meeting and if possible all UMNO and PAS members as well. It has been written by Ariff Sabri who writes a blog under the pen name of Sakmongkol AK47
I say to right thinking Malaysian citizens of all races and religious denominations, these hateful and nihilistic propositions and utterances from UMNO leaders must be rejected for what they are - nervous reactions from people desperately clinging on to power.
The wanita leader is desperate. The UMNO president is desperate. UMNO has turned into a moribund oligarchy.
People will recognise immediately the UMNO game. UMNO is the party that is declaring and describing what DAP is, whereas in actual fact, the people know what the DAP stands. Moreover, we expect nothing less than demonization and scornful descriptions of the worse kind from UMNO.
UMNO can’t suddenly be singing praises for DAP unless it’s behaving like an utter hypocrite. It IS behaving in such a manner when it’s entreating and seducing PAS to join its ranks in the name of the Malay race.
Well, we all know what is done in the name of the Malay race-pillage and plunder of our treasury, emasculation of the institutions that support democracy, worsening of relationship among our citizens. If PAS has any principles, it cannot work with UMNO.
...I will tell you why DAP is attractive. It stands for righteous defiance....I chose righteous defiance. Because of that, it has many adherents - Chinese, Malays, Indians and others.
The righteous defiance takes many forms- the fight for the marginalised, the disenfranchised, the victims of excessive officialdom, fight against corruption, abuse of power, fight for good governance, the rule of law, the supremacy of our constitution. The list is by no means complete.
DAP and other opposition parties are trying to bring transparency to bear on the baroque corruption of the Najib government.
How do these threaten Malay interests? Let us stop for a moment to ask a very important question- who has been ill-treating the Malays?
The answer is the government that is in power. They are the ones responsible for making policies and implementing them. They alone are accountable for the effects and results of their policies. Misrule causes ill-treatment.
Who will benefit under this state of perpetual siege and potential upheaval? UMNO and the BN government of course which controls the legitimate coercive forces of the country as well as indirectly sanctioned martial groups.
If the Wanita leader and the UMNO president want to make a jackass of themselves, they are most welcome but please do not lump the other 15 million Malays in the same group as them. The 15 million non UMNO Malays are not NFC cows than can be unnaturally herded into condominiums

The bible talks about God being the creator of the Universe in Genesis,I trust the bible because it is consistent harmonious in its prophesies and the most important factor written by writers with creditable and reliable personalities.
Any prophesies written will without fail come to be fulfilled and with minute details.
Whereas a lot of stories written without consistency and by one writer only but the bible is written by different 40 authors and in different generations yet they support one another and do not challenge each other validity.To me it is from one source i.e inspired by God to write it.

DreamMaster,the bibles talk about the existence of spirit realm long before the creation of the earth and its living things.Jesus being the firstborn was the co worker with Jehovah in the creation of the universe.
The creation of the earth with the big bang to create our milky ways had happened much later bcos the creation of other milky ways of the spirit realm had happened much earlier.
Whether this creation of our started big bang nobody knew afterall all ou including the author were not there to witness the big bang and the author was only a human who hsd not lived that long.

It took sixth creative days to create everything on earth from beginning until Eve was created.

So it was not stated how long God took to create the heavens and angels but it was created before the earth and humans.

DreamSorcerer,when Eve came to life it was the end of the sixth creative day and the beginning of the seventh creative day which Jehovah God called it a Sabbath Day,a day of rest in Genesis 2:3.
Since Adam's time to now is 6000+ years but the age gap between Adam and Eve is unknown,we cannot tell from Eve to when(?) is 6000years.
But the bible mentions 1000 years(no works of creation) for human to reach perfection and plus the 6000years of human existence(no work of creation)=7000years make up of the 7th creative day.
For 6 creative days=6x7000years=42,000 years.

From the genealogy of Jesus christ to king David to Adam and from Jesus Christ to Sept 1974,it is roughly about 6000 years.But from Eve to judgement day is 6000years plus the 1000years of mankind restoration of perfection=7000years.
Let assume the age difference between Adam and Eve be x years.
Eve's birth is the beginning of 7th creative day and therefore to Sept 1974 is 6000-x years.
Hence 1974 + x = 6000years= 20xx=judgement year.
If x=50 years,then judgement year=1974+50=2024
If x=44 years,then judgement year=1974+44=2018.
So all this calculation will be only accurate if 1974 is correctly calculated and the age differrence is known.
Jesus said regarding the hour of judgement nobody would know except the the Father,Jehovah.
So in harmony with what Jesus had said,it was true to calculate the judgement day because 1)we didn't know the age different between Adam and Eve. 2)whether the year 1974 is 100% accurate because it might had some overlapping in months or days as we did not know the birthdays of evryone.
Fortunately Jesus gave us the signs of the 'last days' and prophesies to know the imminence of the judgement day through its fulfilment of these signs and prophesies.Also he said from the budding of the flowers or trees you know summer is near.
