During the last quarter from September – December last year, there was no more MCO lockdown, all the people could go to work and there were more construction activities. As a result, all investors expected to see all the steel stocks to report better profit than their previous quarter.
I was shocked to see that all the steel stocks, except Prestar reported reduced profit. Prestar is the only steel company reported increased profit.
Prestar’s EPS for each of the last 4 quarters were 10.03 sen, 7.21 sen, 9.59 sen and 9.45 sen totaling 36.28 sen. The last traded price is 66.5 sen. It is selling at PE less than 2.
