"With our proven distribution competence in East and West Malaysia, we are confident of providing reliable and safe cold chain services in accordance with good distribution practices and quality assurance standards for important and urgent deliveries like the Covid-19 vaccines," he said.

The first batch of single-dose CanSino vaccines, comprising 200,000 doses, arrived in Malaysia on Aug 20.

Health director-general Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said CanSino will become the first single-dose Covid-19 vaccine that will be used in Malaysia.
