PUTRAJAYA: Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin says he will let Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) decide where he should stand in the 15th General Election (GE15).

Radzi, who contested in Kelantan's Ketereh parliamentary seat in GE14, said he will toe the party line. 

"I am a party man," he told reporters after the Wadah Aspirasi programme here on Friday (Sept 23).

Radzi, who is Bersatu vice president, also dismissed rumours that he will be contesting in Putrajaya although he noted that he was close to the community here.

"My house is here in Putrajaya and the people here are my neighbours," he said. 

There was talk last month that Radzi was eyeing the Putrajaya seat in GE15 after losing in Ketereh in 2018 to Umno's Tan Sri Annuar Musa.

The Putrajaya seat is currently held by Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, who has been the MP here for four terms since 2004.
