SHAH ALAM, Nov 30 — Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said Pakatan Harapan (PH) might collaborate with Barisan Nasional (BN) in the state election next year.
According to a report by SelangorKini, Amirudin said this could happen if the two coalitions’ partnership at the federal level were to be adopted in Selangor.
“It’s confirmed because we would like to continue what has been done at the federal level.
“The formula for a coalition government can help with ensuring a stable state government; we will discuss more if there’s an opportunity to do so,” he was quoted as saying.
The PH Selangor chairman said that he hoped that PH’s administration will be strengthened in the state election.
After the 15th general election, BN supported PH chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to become the 10th prime minister.
Both coalitions also formed the state governments in Perak and Pahang, with BN taking the mentri besar positions in both.
