U.S. stockmarkets closed mixed overnight as the Dow extended its losses for the fourth straight session by 0.1% after Fed Chairwoman Janet Yellen expects rate hikes a few times a year until the end of 2019.but the S&P 500 added 0.2%.

FBM KLCI: 1,665.02 pts (+1.99pts, +0.12%)
The FBM KLCI extended its gains by 0.1%, led by gains in selective banking heavyweigths after the key index hovered in the positive territory for most of the trading session. The immediate resistance level is located around the 1,680 level.

Crude Palm Oil: RM3,150 (-RM9, -0.28%)
Crude palm oil prices retreated amid the firmer Ringgit against the Greenback. The RM3,200 level will serve as the immediate resistance level.

WTI Crude Oil: $51.08 (-$1.40, -2.69%)
Crude oil prices closed lower as investors were focused on increases in U.S. shale oil production which could offset OPEC’s production cut. Crude oil prices might trend towards the US$55-US$60 levels.

Gold: $1,204.30 (-$12.77, -1.05%)
Gold prices halted a streak of seven consecutive days of gains on profit taking activities. The US1,250 will serve as the immediate resistance level.
