Taking cues from the weakness in Wall Street overnight, the FBM KLCI (-0.2%) ended in the negative territory after swinging between slight gains and losses in a choppy trading session; dragged by selected banking and telecommunication heavyweights. Market breadth, however, turned positive as the gainers outnumbered the losers by 518-to-403 stocks. The technology sector (+1.89%) recovered some of its losses in the previous session, contributed by gains in HONGSENG (+10.0 sen), D&O (+19.0 sen), and DNEX (+5.5 sen).
