- in 1982, attended a specialized course in Tokyo, Japan in project financing 
- in 1986, attended a diploma course in Human Resource and Technical Assistance at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom

Working Experience
- in 1980, started career with Malaysian public service as Administrative Officer in the Economic Planning Unit (EPU), Prime Ministers Department
- in 1986, joined Administrative & Diplomatic Service (PTD) and was again posted back to EPU
- in 1992, posted to the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and was responsible for the bilateral desk covering the European countries, looking at the trade policy issues and promotion programme for the region
- in 1995, joined Malaysia External Development Corporation (MATRADE) as Manager for Trade Promotion Bureau and very knowledgeable and had hands on experience in organizing promotion programme, both overseas and domestically
- from 2001 to 2006, posted as the Trade Commissioner in London. She was responsible in the organization of trade and investment seminar and also for the arrangement for business matching
- in 2008, assigned to the Strategic Planning Division as Acting Director after returning from London and later posted as Director of Products and has further expanded her horizon in other areas of planning and understanding the industry clusters under her watch
- in 2010, posted to Beijing as the Senior Trade Commissioner for two year duration and has provided her with practical experience on how business is conducted in the east in comparison to her earlier experience in the west
- her last posting in MATRADE, prior to her retirement in 2012 was Director Cross Border, a division responsible for cross border investment activities by the Malaysian companies overseas

- Currently appointed as Trade Accelerator to 6 companies under Teraju, SME Bank and MATRADE in area related to textiles and apparels, baby products, rubber based products, oil and gas and handicraft
