Mr. Wan Chia Keong started as a Management Trainee in the packaging industry in New Zealand and Australia in 2000 before climbing the ranks in various operational positions in the global packaging company Amcor Flexibles Pty Ltd. When he returned to Malaysia in 2003, he joined Thong Guan Industries Berhad (TGIB) as an Operation Executive and eventually promoted to General Manager where he was responsible in developing business strategy, overseeing the sales and manufacturing operation of the plastic packaging division. He has extensive global market experience in spearheading the TGIB export business. In 2011, Mr. Wan founded Respack group of companies which specialise in the manufacturing of packaging material, flexible plastic packaging, stretch film, papercores, plastic additives and compounds, medical face & personal hygiene care, apron & gloves, and green packaging. He holds the position of Managing Director of the Respack Group since year 2011. With his excellent leadership, the Respack group of companies have achieved numerous awards in business excellent and innovation. In addition, Mr. Wan also acts as advisor of Pertubuhan Pakatan Setia Malaysia and as a committee member of Pertubuhan Mesra Pengguna Malaysia, both are the non-governmental organisation in Malaysia.
