Abdullah bin Abu Samah has been with KPMG Malaysia from 1988 to 2020. He was a Partner in the Audit division from 1997 until his retiremnet in December 2020. He had also served as a member of Exco for KPMG Malaysia from 2014 to 2018. He was seconded to KPMG London for two (2) years from 1993 to 1993 to focus on financial service sector.
He has over 32 years of experience servicing clients in various industries including large multinationals. These includes companies in oil and gas, banking and finance, construction and property development, hotel and hospitality, palm oil plantation, manufacturing and trading sectors.
In addition to external audit, Abdullah has also significant experience in reviews of prospective financial information for purposes of IPOs, rights issues and bond issues. He has also led many audit assignments in financial due to diligence reviews on behalf of acquirers.
