Dato' Siew Nim Chee began his career as a Lecturer in University of Malaya. He later became the Head of Economic Research and the Chief Economist of Bank Negara Malaysia. He was the Treasurer with Exxon (M) Berhad ; Managing Director of Magnum Corporation Berhad ; Group Consultant to Genting Berhad and Kien Huat Realty Sdn Bhd ; the Founder, Fellow and President of the Malaysian Economic Association ("MEA") ; Executive Council Member of the MEA Foundation and member of the Council University Graduate Club of Malaysia and the Panel of Advisors, Cornell SEAP. He is a Paul Harris Fellow.
