Dr Asairinachan started his career in 1972 at Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur as Manager and served for 22 years before moving on to Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd ("IWK") in 1994 as an Executive Director. He left IWK in 2000. An Environmental Consultant by profession, Dr Asairinachan is currently the Managing Director and shareholder of Waste Stream Management Sdn Bhd, a company providing consultancy and training in waste water management.
