Commenced his professional career as audit/accounts senior with KPMG in 1983. Later joined as a partner to a local accounting firm before practise on his own under Messrs. S T Toh & Co in 1997. Has in-depth experience in auditing, tax planning and management advisory. He sits as a Corporate Advisor to Metro Pacific S/B and Mainskenzai Wood S/B, which are wholly foreign-owned, and Laguna Redang Island Resort. He was awarded Trengganu State's PJK in 1995, was also appointed Trengganu State's JP in 1998.
