Datuk Yvonne Chia began her career with Bank of America and has held various roles in Malaysia and Asia region. She was the former Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer for Hong Leong Bank until 30 June 2013. In addition to her leadership at Hong Leong Bank, she also served as a Director of Hong Leong Financial Group, Hong Leong Bank Berhad and Hong Leong Islamic Bank Berhad. She was the Chairman of AFC Merchant Bank Limited until 30 June 2013. She had also served as the Chief Executive Officer of RHB Bank Berhad from 1996 to 2002.
