Working Experience
Datuk Kee Mustafa has 33 years of service with the Sabah state government. He began his career in 1974 with the State Establishment Office, Chief Minister's Department as an Executive Officer, Service Division and was appointed as Principal Assistant Director, Service Division on 1st June 1982. In 1984 he was seconded to Sabah Gas Sdn Bhd as Personnel Manager and later became the Senior Manager (Administration). In 1991, he returned to work with the State Civil Service where he served several Government's departments. In January 1996 he was appointed as the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of the Infrastructure Development. He was then appointed as the Director of Science & technology Unit of Chief Minister's Department in January 1997 to set up the unit. He was later appointed as a Director at State Public Services Department, Chief Minister's Department in March 2000. He became the Sabah's State Secretary in April 2000 until he retires from the government service in 2007. He sits in the board of Malaysia Airline System Berhad from 2000 to 2001. He was also a member of the Royal Commission of Inquiry on Immigrants in Sabah from 2012 to May 2014.
