Mr Tan is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is currently a partner in an accounting practice providing auditing, due diligence, advisory and other related services. He was a former partner of Deloitte Malaysia (formerly known as Deloitte KassimChan) and has more than 35 years of experience in assurance and advisory engagements. He has been involved in the audits of local subsidiaries of large multinational corporations, public and private companies that operate in various industries. He was also involved in leading assignments related to outsourced internal audits, initial public offerings and financial due diligence.
