Mr Michael Tong Yin Shiew is the senior partner in charge of Crowe Malaysia PLT Kota Kinabalu and a partner in Crowe Labuan LLP.
He has commenced public practice as a chartered accountant in Kota Kinabalu since 1980 and has over 38 years of working experience in corporate finance, auditing and assurance services (includes forensic, investigative and statutory), accounting, taxation, insolvency and consultancy (includes due diligence, valuation of corporations and corporate restructuring).
He is a senior accountant and financial consultant to the business communities and public sectors and had served as financial advisors, treasurers and auditors to the non-governmental organisations, churches and charity bodies.
He is also a certified fraud examiner and a member of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. On top of that, he is a registered partner with the Audit Oversight Board.
