@kennyku My broker said that I am entitled to the dividend if I sell on the ex-date (Aug 14) as long as I purchased it before that date. Please correct me if I am wrong because I am new to this as well. Thank you.

Can someone please tell me why this morning the price is 0.39 instead of 0.83 which was the price at market close last Friday. How come the dividend amount is stripped out of the price? Please do advise as I am new to this. Thank you.
