The dust will settle down but unlikely in the short term as strong winds (volatility) is constant.

In a weak market don't assume too much because there is no motivation to rally a stock.Just be hopeful that the next quarter comes with another good performance. As it is the price is now driven by natural market force and is finding its base.

Operator knows retailer's power is pivotal to its ascendancy. However after the recent massacre, it will be testing and finding a base for a return of confidence. Many are disgusted that the stellar performances over two quarters were not defended by the management. Caveat emptor.

DJ is holding the the global market by their necks. Volatility is the constant for a period of time. Unless we have funds to hold, this is not a time to hope on luck as fundamental stocks are also hit.

I think operator is now pressing for more share scripts, so now focus on those weak holders who may cash out. Too much selling over the last few trading sessions with no sign of confident rebound.

It's a bitter experience to see a stock that offers so much expectation and a PBT 25 mil quarter becones a pariah stock the last 5 trading sessions.

Broad based rally in DJ. House speaker Ryan rejects Trump's tariff plan. Let's see some sanity in KLSE.

Ah..all the Trump noise to negotiate for a fair NAFTA agreement for US! ( Canada & Mexico being one of the top steel and aluminium suppliers) And the whole global market reacted as irrationally as him!

That's how management shd respond in this negative situation. You defend not only the company's operation but also the shareholders at large. This had make Press Metal more creditable.

Sellers keep appearing at every dropped price!

The question is not when it flys again but why is the management doing nothing to support its price or do they think the price is still overvalued?

High 0.665 less 30% = 0.4655. The buy call has to start somehow!!

Huaan's management shd be responsible to step out and step up to make a positive announcement to this negative impact on their credibility.

This only can happen in Malaysia. PBT 59 mil in 6 mths counts for nothing as sellers continue to dump this stock.

Cold feet and cold sweat will sum up today's trade for Huaan.
2018-03-05 10:30 | Report Abuse
Volume is noticeably low as sellers dominate, so let's see with PBT of 59 mil over 2 qtrs, how would Huaan react?

Rebound should be very swift if it happens....

The steel sector has been oversold based on Trump's factor.Do they sell to the US? For Huaan, China's burgeoning infrastructure will be enough to sustain its domestic supply and thereby contribute to its continued growth.

No thanks to Donald Trump's announcement on possible tariffs for steel imports into the US which has put ubcertainty on global trade. Has Huaan reached the bottom after their QR released? Looks like a stalemate at 0.53 - .0535.

China is not the top country from which the United States imports steel. In fact, it's not even in the top 10.
Due to the trade penalties the United States has slapped on Chinese steel during past administrations, China sends much less steel to the U.S. than it used to.
"Direct Chinese steel shipments to the United States have gone way down in the past few years," said William Reinsch, a trade expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies who also served in the Clinton administration.
The United States imports most of its steel — 16% — from Canada. It imports 13% from Brazil, 10% from South Korea, 9% from Mexico and 9% from Russia, according to a Department of Commerce report from December 2017.

Warren Buffett likes the volatility because he's a net buyer in the market. Powell just wants to show his leadership but when it comes to decision making, what he thinks cannot influence the other members. DJ's volatility indicates a healthy market lest we forget Donald Trump's ' America first' policy. Warren Buffett is betting it would come good.

The market always moves the opposite direction when you least expect it. So it's good when most feel it's going south because less feel it's going north. This is how the mind of the contrarian works. Less is more.

When you thought it would go north, it went south today. Likewise tomorrow when you think it's going further south, will it go further north? Traders have different names allotted to them. Buy/sell long term you are an investor. Buy/sell short term, you are an opportunist. Buy/sell within T4+1 you are a contra player and you have an additional title of gambler. Isn't everyone betting on a better price when they buy?

Tsunami comes and takes out palaces and little huts. The financial market is no respecter of the filthy rich. Question to ask, are the sharks also swept away by the frantic mayhem of tariffs trade wars? The possibility is likely as every rise in price is a chance to sell and cut profits/loss. Buying belongs to the brave hearts with no holes in their pockets but again, caveat emptor.
