For 1 MAS share you get 4 rights, u need to pay RM0.23/sh for the rights. If your cost is RM0.70, this is how u calculate: (0.7 x 20% + 0.23 x 80%) = RM0.324 cost of your MAS.

1:4 = 20%:80%

There are many undervalued stocks but with no big players support, those stocks hardly move. So in the end, i find stocks that have big players' support are the best in Malaysia which is 60%-80% controlled by local and foreign institutional players.

Brokerage fee does affect your portfolio return, why dont u consider other securities such as Jupiter, M&A and others whereby the brokerage is much lower.

Yes, based on the Msia historical data, we had a run-up in the early 90's until peak in 1997, similarly, we had a similar run-up and peak in 2008. However, in the 80's we didnt have a nice run-up, instead it was choppy throughout the decade, but it did have a crash in 1987.
