Callme777, you were right. I took the info from the quarterly report, which is referring to the previous year.

Poisonivy, I am not sure which section you are referring to. If you were referring to financial summary, apologies as I did not re-spread the financial due to the time constraint (It is as of Apr 2017). I will put a note so that the users are aware of that going forward. Secondly, my rating is based on whether upside potential > 15% which in this case, is circa 13%. Revision of TP upward =/= Buy rating. Lastly, I am not sure what factoring you are referring to? Maybe I can look into that.

Maybe you are right, the share can be stagnant or even lower. But you are missing the point there is a cost of opportunity lost. By holding because it gives dividend is not rationale since you are so pessimistic about the price. You are holding it because you believe the price could go to 0.18. For those that can buy right now, they could get +15% return (if the price can go to 0.18). Isnt it good? The market has no reason to trade at 0.18 just because you bought at that price. If Dividend yield of 3% is keeping you stay invested then you really need to study behavioural finance. You are just losing out on other opportunities of generating you higher return. The market may play you but most important is dont play yourself.

Sales, my view is that your 18c cost is irrelevant. It is sunk cost. You are contradictory in the sense that you do not see any future in the stock yet you are holding it and losing other profit generating opportunities. Its either you long it or sell it, u cannot say one thing but do the opposite (ie hold it). Just my opinion.

Personally, I am targeting RM1 though I like to be conservative.

Greetings,

@ RainT, I am pretty sure there will be more companies out there that I might have omitted and in my current review I have added Homeritz and will be reminded to add Liihen in my next review. Thanks,

@ Shortinvestor77, It has definitely weakened Trump’s position and could be fatal in pushing the tax reform. Speaking of probability, I guess I have to give up since literally countless of commentators, pollsters and media believed Donald Trump could not have won but he did.

Greetings,

The justification for projecting 30% growth is considering the acquisition of Outset Pty (19/9/16). The Q4 report has pointed out that the actual acquired date is 1/9/16 (page 23). Although they did not disclose their % ownership in the company (not that I can see in the Quarterly report), we believe the stake is high enough (50%+) to classified it as a subsidiary based on the accounting treatments (consolidating the revenue, as associates only recognise the net income). We then look at the performance post-acquisition (just four months), the Q4 Australian revenue was RM103m (Q3: RM 58m, a growth of 77% against previous quarter). Then again, for simplicity, how much % is due to the existing operations we do not know, but the Q4 report did explain the contribution was due to Outset. So if Kim Hin merely consolidating 4 months already 70%+, the whole year (FY17 we are projecting 30%) is likely to be much higher. You point out a good thing, building approval is contracting, but the growth we are projecting is what we called acquisitive (rather than organic). Hope it explains my thought process.

Kind regards

I focus more on FCF and FFO when it comes to determining whether it is cash cow. debt-free position certainly makes its cash flow generation more attractive. I cannot say whether they have R&D but its corporate mission include on-going R+D.
