Has umwog reached a 'tipping point'? Brent crude is above Usd60 for a few weeks and Umwog registered profit for 1st time after so many many quarters.

Why is it trading at 31sen, when net asset per share much higher at 90sen? Year end is approaching too...

Yes, all 7 rigs are utilized, one problem dealt with.

But, like everyone else, umwog needs to nego better rates next year. I think pnb wouldn't pump in more than RM1Bn unless it first spoke to petronas.

Cheap rigs available in the market could be old and old-specced rigs. Maybe for umwog it wouldn't be as simple as buying more rigs now...
