There's many counters in bursa which are over controlled by certain parties. Ikan bills like us always get fooled with. As long as it's a 1 way traffic mainly controlled by these parties, there won't be hope for all the listed companies.

Below 1.9 after all the gruesome months we have gone through. Seems like nth is working in this bursa.

I guess it's time to take a leaf out of ytl's book. Issue bonus warrant to us. Make it more rewarding in the sense 3:1 or 4:1 ratio and lower conversion price.

Even kopi company can fetch a higher value than our beloved hibiscus. Wat is reali wrong here.
1 week ago | Report Abuse
Exactly watsy. Again and again the company has surprised us with earlier than expected acquisition. All of them has exceptional IRR. There's so many more exploration projects in the line which we can't gauge the discovery yet. Profit is definitely above the 400 mill mark and that's very conservative.

Tqvm twynstar for the explanation. None of the posts here can match the information that u provide. I have always admired u in hibiscus forum just like dragon328 in ytlp forum.

Jimmy, hopefully the management can stun us with a better results. Make hibiscus the first company in bursa with PE less than 3 to show to the world how manipulated is our stock market. Brent above 80 for the whole year means 10.5c dividend is coming next year. I just don't see any negatives at this point of time.

My figures might not be very accurate, but conservatively speaking the coming qr might provide a PAT of about 140 mill. And the qr in may will definitely beat the 150 mill mark.

Previously there's a forumer named twynstar who gave detailed facts based analysis on hibiscus. Wished that twynstar can continue providing insight into the company that we can all benefit for. LNG is just too difficult to comprehend due to it's benchmark unlike oil in brent. Just that to comfort ourselves, the acquisition is done when the range of US natural gas future is around the 3.2 region. Since then it has gone up to 4. Judging from wat management provided, the Brunei asset contributes about 8k bboe. I guess at current natural gas price, the asset itself would have generated about 40-50 mill PAT per qr.

Watsy, how did u come out to a PAT of 250 mill. Definitely hibiscus is the most underrated stock in bursa. Lowest PE.

Luckily there isn't covering yet. Still giving us ample of time to buy in till announcement if next qr
2 weeks ago | Report Abuse
Closing is at least closer to a 5 percent gain. Hopefully it's not pure covering of shorts. PE for 2025 is definitely below 4. Possibly even reaching 3.

Market is just so bad. Hibiscus is also a victim. Expecting a gap up of minimum 5 per cent due to massive jump in pricing. But didn't match my expectation.
3 weeks ago | Report Abuse
We minority shareholders are in a lurk as we are unsure the next move by the company. We can only wish with the improved pricing, extraordinary profits will provide the company with bullets for SBB or special dividend. I personally have bought too much that I can't afford to lose.
Coming qr will get a lifted boost from the Brunei asset and zero offline field. But the subsequent qr will be even better with current oil price.

After covering 1 mill there's still no gap up. Wonder wat wonders can the 13.3 mill covering make.

May the FY profit beats 600 mil, make its PE below 3. Show to the world how undervalued this company is.
3 weeks ago | Report Abuse
I've been loading and loading when it's below 2 especially below 1.95. like u said. It's not gonna be wrong. Dividend yield in the future might be super good if based on current share price. Upside is there. Downside is limited
3 weeks ago | Report Abuse
Wats the total short volume so far Jimmy. Brent and natural gas at this rate will only give a superb qr in may. Possibly breaking 150 mill mark. It's just so unbelievable who is selling to those collecting when the worst is over for oil n gas price.

Hibiscus is indeed giving higher dividends than usual years. It's spending about 100 million on dividends which is higher than SBB. The best way is to encourage everyone to buy and to keep to see it's growth. I prefer special dividend rather than interim dividend. Company can always keep it's profit. When the time ripe, announce a massive special dividend to reward us.

Why not we say with the limited liquidity, SBB has the most effect in pushing up share price. The root of all problems is not liquidity but holdings. There's too little long term shareholders in this company.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
There's only 2 ways of reducing shares from market drastically in the long run. SBB and collection by management. To have an instant effect, SBB is the only option. To have a lasting effect, SBB too, as the treasury shares can be cancelled. Management buying cannot be forced although I genuinely hope that they will do their part in supporting.

Totally agree with Jimmy. Privatisation will be imminent when insiders hold more than 50% of shares. We just need some new fund house to counter the IBs selling prior to the expiry of warrant.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
Unlikely for years to come unless more than 30 per cent of floating shares are removed by SBB. There's too many retailers holding this stock and redeeming it from the market will take a long time
1 month ago | Report Abuse
Thank you Jimmy. The best news is SBB has resumed. Shorties are here to give us a big ticket to collect. SBB will always be out shield of support. Hopefully there is ample of time for us to collect before the next bombastic qr (fingers crossed 150 mil PAT)

The only bright point for yesterday. Today I've accumulated the largest single batch of stock in my life at 1.92. might not be the lowest for this share. But hopefully one of the lowest.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
Yup. I buy for 2028. Not buying for tomorrow. A tortoise race for us to achieve our target. Slow but definitely
1 month ago | Report Abuse
SBB didn't resume yesterday for unknown reason. A bit disappointed as currently volume is low and minimal SBB will provide a massive support
1 month ago | Report Abuse
There's almost negligible negatives apart from the shareholdings. Basically the current share price is low due to large holding by retailers (weak holding power), high free float shares in market. Well done management and thanks Jimmy for these slides. It's easier to read graphs n charts for better understanding
1 month ago | Report Abuse
Today's SBB is on the strong side. That's the only way to support the share price
1 month ago | Report Abuse
Yes Jimmy. To issue warrant at these prices are totally a humiliating sign to the share price. We shouldn't let them win. To be frank if I could, I would have sacrifice all dividends in exchange of SBB. Just wipe out all these shares for the sake of future.

Allowing shorties to cover position at 1.99 is definitely not good for us.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
Perhaps we need to ask these ppl why they hate hibiscus so much. Please don't channel Ur hatred here. Plus according to the latest development on marigold and sunflower field, it is expected to produce 40k bbd at its peak. hibiscus is basically safeguarded with plenty of untapped resources. It might not be a dream to see a production of 100k bbd of oil and oil equivalent.

No call warrant expiring this month. Hopefully the SBB can mitigate the short selling problem by January as another round of call warrant will expire then. We have to thank those who dump for us to collect.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
Today's SBB isn't heavy enough to defend the share price. Jimmy do update us the short position as usual. Tq
1 month ago | Report Abuse
Short term pain for long term gain. There's just too much sellers who wouldn't want to hold on to the stock. We will be the one willing to take over these holdings. Rest assured a year from now we can reap the harvest provided 20 per cent of shares are wiped out from free market
1 month ago | Report Abuse
But today, as usual there's heavy dumping again in the morning. SBB has to be more aggressive to counter this pressing. Totally agree with you that there's no fund house or big investor circling this counter.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
C71 is reali a daring bet. By the time it reaches maturity., I'm quite sure the share price will be north of 2.5. load it up tmrw.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
I'm also curious who is dumping for me and the SBB to collect. Buying momentum is still not here yet and thus it's reali hard for us to see massive gap up.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
Well done. I entered at 2.07. do update us the shorted volume later. Tq
1 month ago | Report Abuse
Yes Jimmy. Everything is on the right track. Hopefully we can reach the TP of 4. Which is the previous high when oil is at the highest.
2 months ago | Report Abuse
Perhaps the shorties are not dare to hold long enough. Or the shorties change hands. Anyway the stock is obviously on the upside of a cycle. RM 3 is definitely coming. RM 4 maybe?
2 months ago | Report Abuse
Good morning shorties, why haven't u short the stock for us?
2 months ago | Report Abuse
Covering of this 15.4 million shares and perhaps another SBB of 40 million shares can push the share price above RM 3. Hopefully my dream will come true
2 months ago | Report Abuse
Wats the cumulative short selling till now Jimmy? Need to prepare for the shopping spree prior to their cover
2 months ago | Report Abuse
Looks like privatisation also on the board. This SBB signal is just so clear and strong that our share value will be uphold
2 months ago | Report Abuse
Share price is determined by supply and demand. Another 10% SBB will deter anyone from short selling. Coupling with the facts that profit will be high, in 6 months time, hopefully the number 3 will be a dream come true
2 months ago | Report Abuse
Have faith. When the total amount of SBB breaches 10%, we shall see our share price north of RM 3
2 months ago | Report Abuse
As expected, the share price won't be affected. Bcoz this is just the beginning. Roman empire is not built in a day. Just follow Berkshire pathway. Top up if u have capability. U either do the trading way or investing way.
2 months ago | Report Abuse
Does Berkshire Hathaway rings a bell? I personally prefers cancellation as it will only increase the NTA. I guess the call warrants won't be affected as it doesn't affect the current share price like ex dividend. As I always said, have confident in the management, they are working their wonders in all ways.

Yes. The SBB was persistent from 2+ till 1.9+. But since then the SBB stopped totally. Management themselves also not buying any personally. I'm an avid investor in hibiscus but my confidence has dropped to the lowest as the share price sunk below 1.9. That's the point I know nth is gonna happen
