I repeat that the 2nd and 3rd quarters are off peak quarters, and given that air asia is a budget carrier, its profitability is depended very much on volume of passengers irrespective of whether the oil price has gone down. I can see the downward momentum happening, and I won't be surprised if the price goes down to 37 cts.

Many people lost money in the recent round by following the so called "experts" advice. The price went up and then came crashing down!. The market is being manipulated by the syndicates and don't let anything tells you otherwise. This is real.

As the recent trading pattern shows, Bursa is a gambling house, no fundamentals. Time and time again, the share prices are controlled by big syndicates. So forget about the analysis.

For the past three financial years, the last quarter suffered heavy losses. Unless there is a dramatic turnaround in this quarter, we may see the same situation again. I suspect that the big boys may push the price up, say to 48 cts, a week or two before the announcement of the results expected by the end of this month. My advice is to sell when the price is up to this level as it may tumble the day after the announcement. This is what happened to AAX recently and last year.

Unfortunately, the downward spiral is going to continue for a week or two. If the results for the 1st qtr are not good despite the fact it falls within the peak period for airliners, don't expect the results for the remaining qtrs to be any better. The price will likely hover between 37.5 to 40 cts the most.
