Luxchem is the preferred chemicals supplier for rubber glove players in Malaysia as it offers credit term of 60 days. It's competitors in this specific rubber glove segment like Excelkos, Shin Fong Chemicals, Nantex and Kumho are stricter in its trading term. It is not difficult to gauge the revenue from this segment given that chemical constitutes 6-8% of the COGS of rubber gloves manufacturers.

We have seen the uptrend for listed rubber gloves counters. This upcycle industry is also lifting the raw material requirements for other nitrile rubber gloves manufacturers that are not listed and below the radar of stock market investors.

Stock market is a place where the optimists buy from the pessimists. If the counter does not meet one's criteria or valuation, disposal is a choice on the table. Now, valuation is subjective especially when emotions are put into the weighing scale. Some might see the hidden gem beneath the dirty crust and vice versa. That being said, this process is the exciting part of stock investing/trading.

Resistance at 0.78 level. No panic selling despite "negative" sentiment expressed by some investors. The price should hold for sometime before uptrend momentum kicks in.

Impressive revenue growth generated from increased sales volume in Vietnam which contributed about 30% to the current quarter. Investors need to take note that Samchem is one of the only three major petrochemical distributors in Vietnam. Vietnam is a platform for sales of its products to Laos and Myanmar. Sales grew by over 40% in Indonesia. On long term basis, the market positioning of Samchem will enable it to gain a larger market share in these countries.

Inventories and Trade Receivables built up in this quarter will be translated into higher revenue in subsequent quarter. As a distributor, it will be able to transfer its increased costs to its purchase price to be absorbed by its customers.
