GPacket holds a 47.2% stake in P1 and another 13.5% stake indirectly via its wholly owned Packet One Sdn Bhd. Other shareholders include South Korean telco SK Telecom Co Ltd (28.2%), Megan Sinar Sdn Bhd (1.96%), Dutamas Equity Sdn Bhd (2.5%), Dutamas Regal Sdn Bhd (3.7%) and Akar Amanjaya Sdn Bhd (2.9%)

@bullram this consolidation will help to break 0.63 test. Just give it some time to restore confidence. Hopefully big players don't spike the price up to suddenly or price hike will be premature.

Digi o digi :) gpacket p1 spectrum is on hot demand

Alliance Research said on Tuesday that DiGi, having completed its network modernisation in the third quarter of 2013, will now focus on expanding its 3G coverage, which is at 76% currently, to catch up with Maxis and Celcom.“It also plans to expand its LTE (long term evolution) coverage to 1,500 sites by end-2014, which is important for DiGi to compete effectively in the medium to long term

Alot of small players nibbling on the stocks available, pushing the price up quite tremendously. Awaiting the big players to make real splash. Hopefully more volume tomorrow to clear up 0.510-0.545 stocks. Riding an uptrend now and awaiting an outbreak.

Still the same advice buy and hold with cash ( do not try to time the market with contra, you will only be out played by your own greediness ), the goal line is the billion dollar asset/spectrum that P1 has and the future economics for data market is only getting bigger. Digi just reported a 20% increase profit for their data market.

M&A is inevitable as gpacket is running out of funding to operate. As you know.. unlike foreign countries.. Msia is not transparent with their business news. You could well suspect deals are already on going and top crony are making money out of insider news.

Same thing happened at Sumatec stock, announced disposal by big players to really shake or instill fear into stock traders, creating fear and panic to acquire more. Total of 7 million volume disposal... isn't that fishy? Why the small volume? Could it be a glitch in osk? Maybe we will leave that question to OSK platform users to justify.

My hold time around 2-3 months at max( just very unsure of when the move is coming but very soon). What to expect. If deal is really going through, do expect decent volume continuously at a stagnant price. If price do inflate, players will try to shake it. Hold tight with your cash and get ready to experience a sudden surge or outbreak ( if this is your first time experiencing M&A deals for stock, its always like on off on off.. kinda sick boat ride. At that moment hold clear of your analysis and off the market and go do smth else be back days or weeks later :) )

I think once pass 0.535 will fly. Just need few million traded volume more. But remember to buy with cash and not contra in case big players decide to throw and control price to acquire more at lower price before any m and a news is announced.

Base on previous days volume how many transaction was bought around 0.5ish btw news coming out already. Want to enter faster, 0.5 ish best time to enter first tp 0.8 second tp 1.2.

Base line for the whole gpacket drama and agenda.

1. Gpacket no longer has the cash flow to operate, nor the capital to expand or last.

2. PJ property(P1 HQ) was sold earlier and also Michael Lai discontinue as ceo (quite a straight forward indication of abandoning P1)

3. P1 has quite a huge coverage and also thousands of sites and spectrum in strategic location with people that has the money to spend and hunger for broadband/internet.

4. Any telco can easy reconfigure and tap into the market as soon, with the huge database of customers these telco has. More data plan package.

5. Smart phone and tablet segment just get bigger, no one is actually into telco.. but data. email,fb..etc.etc.. sms and calling is dead.. So big telco are striving to penetrate more into the new market.

And i was wondering why redtone and p1(gpacket) penetrate so much tower in sabah and sarawak... the whole picture is clearer now.. it was all for this. Hold your boats for the rocky storm. 0.75 - 0.9 is the tp I am looking at.

What I am expecting - controlled price around 0.5 ish but with volume - until finally the supply dry up. Thats when the real holder gain profit. Good luck to seasonal players that has experience.
