Just read Masteel 2014 AR. Bukit Raja land size is 1.562266 million sq ft. If can sell at RM100/sq foot, can fetch RM 156.2 million which alone is more than Masteel market capitalization. How about other land Masteel own? Steel inventories in balance sheet?

Only 2009 Masteel has yearly loss. Even 2009 Masteel trade at even higher than yesterday. Meaning all past 5years profit become nothing(to NTA)?

Best stock you have to protect Masteel. Postings form ks55 is all bull shit. Beware of the cunning old man. I learn his tricks very well. He never attended AGM at all.

If look at MRT projects sure Masteel business is good. Buy when cheap and dividend next month. Those selling now is selling at heavy loss. Why want to sell and not hold for dividend?

Since Masteel has many factories in Klang Valley and Klang, they can afford to close down 1 factory should their business drop. They can sell the land and make huge gain due to land appreciation. The same cannot be said of Perwaja whose steel factories are located in Gurun Kedah and Kemaman Terengganu where land value are far lower.
As Calvin mention demand for steel is still high with many projects coming closing down factory look unlikely to happen anytime soon.

There is warrant(exercise price 67sen) going to expire in Oct'15. Will Mr Tai(major shareholder) let the warrant expire worthless since he hold the biggest chunk of warrant?

Why the China man want to spend (RM 1.8 billion?) to buy heavy loss making Perwaja? Is he thinking Perwaja only steel company in M'sia? Why not Masteel? Masteel NTA is RM 2.36 vs Perwaja -RM 1.88(negative NTA meaning heavy debt not heavy asset). I think he can take over Masteel for less than RM 500 million(less than one third Perwaja amount)(shares value and clearing all debts amount).

Why not China investors takeover Masteel instead of Perwaja? Masteel should be more valuable than loss making Perwaja. Base on MC Masteel is cheaper than Perwaja.

Asset play stock(NTA RM2.36). Wonder if Masteel manage to sell all its land how much does it worth? Masteel own a lot of land in Klang and Petaling Jaya base on 2014 annual report. Market capitalisation(MC) only RM 119 million.
