@Orange88 and what exactly is your point? All I see is a bunch of mumbo jumbo, spurious allegations and nonsensical arguments. Anything to do with Hibiscs?

Do note that on Page 50, Dr Pascal Hos, formerly of HiRex Petroleum has now been redesignated to be the CEO of SEA Hibiscus Sdn Bhd on 28 September 2017. To me, this signifies that the closure of North Sabah is only a matter of time and would probably close by this month or next.
To those who keep saying the North Sabah deal is off, do provide your reasons/justification in saying so instead of yapping away.

The daily *Stocks on Radar* reports are based on technical indicators. You don't have to follow if the indicators are one-day shows (i.e. no continuation of breakout/volume spike etc)

Personal TP for myself is around 1.03-1.10. However, the caveat here is my entry price is around 0.45-0.47. Happy to hold long term if need be.

When Hibiscs hit the Fibonacci retracement level of around 0.66 yesterday, it's expected to rebound. The strength of its rebound today and tomorrow will determine if this rally still has legs to go for the next couple of months.
North Sabah deal seems to be postponed to late 2017/early 2018 according to BIMB's research report. Fundamentally, this stock still looks great though.

Hi all, I remember seeing a news article on The Star on all the construction project packages due to be awarded in 2H17, but can't seem to find it anymore. Anyone able to share?
Also, I heard that Gamuda did secure KVLRT3 and ECRL packages, but not sure if it has been reflected in the share price. Anyone able to share readings of the technical chart?

Next quarterly result will be out by the end of August. The company won't issue dividends since it's still a growth company and needs money for asset acquisitions. If you want to invest in a dividend-paying stock, please go and buy Maybank (1155) instead.

@Tung Kwang Yii this analyst report has been cited over and over again for the past 6 months, I still don't see a difference to Hibiscus' share price.

If GBP continues dropping and USD remains steady, doesn't it mean that Hibiscs will enjoy forex gains since their costs are in GBP but revenues are in USD?

@w6999 this is based on the fact that most Malaysian companies think of latest and greatest technology = Microsoft Excel. I am just pointing out that they might not be using the latest technology such as IoT sensors and Artificial Intelligence for predictive maintenance and optimised production. If they are, then great.

There are multiple techniques and technologies which could be used for EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery). I was just pointing out the fact that Hibiscus might not be utilising the latest and greatest technology for EOR.

@w6999 agree to a certain extent. The low cost of extraction for Hibiscus would only take place if they invested in the technology. As far as I know, many Malaysian O&G firms are still very far behind the curve when it comes to investment in new technology and R&D

@pang72 easy for you to say that. For all I know, you're trying to drive down the price so that you can add more.
If you don't intend to share and educate fellow investors, you're not adding value here.

We refer to the announcements dated 12 October 2016 and 26 October 2016, in relation to the Proposed Acquisition (“Earlier Announcements”). Terms defined in the Earlier Announcements have the same meaning when used in this announcement.
The Company is pleased to announce that:
PCSB has waived their pre-emption rights under the JOA
Additionally, PETRONAS has provided its approval to Shell for the assignment of the Interest pursuant to the PSC in favour of SEA Hibiscus. The PETRONAS approval is subject to certain conditions which are currently being reviewed by the Sellers in conjunction with SEA Hibiscus. If further clarifications are required from PETRONAS in respect of these conditions, these will be sought in due course and the Company will make further announcements, if appropriate.
The Company views these as positive developments. Subject to the clarifications and subsequent closure of the conditions, the Board of Directors of Hibiscus Petroleum expects the Proposed Acquisition to be completed by the second half of 2017.
This announcement is dated 29 May 2017.

@fellow investors, I would exclude one-off gains and losses based on asset disposals or impairments when analysing a stock.
Full-year profit and revenues are expected to be better than previous year based on quarterised calculations. Besides that, if Karyon does well next quarter, it would have reported consistently increasing profits over the past few years. With NTA at 0.2 and most of the substantial shareholders being directors of the company who have been acquiring shares consistently over the past 6 months (since August 2017), this seems like an undervalued gem at its current price.
