FYI, income from shipping business is tax exempted in Malaysia and Singapore. And most of Maybulk ship is in SG. So even tax rate up to 100% 200% 500% 1000%, it will still exempted. Nice try Son.

1. Imparement means? do you means Impairment?
2. How you come out with impairment loss. Maybulk had impaired their vessel as at 31 Dec 2020, and since then the BDI increase which means earning is increasing, so do you means vessel value will drop despite of the increase in earning power?
3. Maybulk declare right issue? When did they announce this?

Government held shares via Bank Pembangunan, which as at today mere hold 6.78% of shares. So do you think Gov have say compare to the nearly 50% shares of Kuok (PCL and PPB)?

don't underestimate shipping company. market reports are there for you to read. And don't underestimate the auditor. If the company is making impairment without evident, do you think the auditor will let it pass with true and fair view? and their auditor is not any Ali AhKaw dan Muthu partnership.
