Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah under Section 369(a)(B) of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007
(CMSA) for making a false statement in “Serba Dinamik Holdings Berhad’s Quarterly Report on the
Consolidated Results for the Quarter and Year Ended 31 December 2020”. The Company and its
officers pleaded not guilty to the charges therein.
On 29.12.2021, the Securities Commission has charged Muhammad Hafiz Othman under section 368
(1)(b)(i) of the CMSA for instructing the preparation of false documents relating to the sales of Serba
Dinamik Sdn Bhd whom had then pleaded not guilty.
The Company wishes to clarify that its Chief Executive Officer and Group Managing Director Datuk
Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah and his legal counsel were in direct communication with the SC on
28.12.2021.
The Board of Directors of SDHB wishes to inform that the Company and its officers have obtained
legal advice and will be defending the charges vigorously.
The Company will make further announcement as and when there are material developments on the
above matter.

I hope all investor who read all this comments should be aware that most are one sided comments with the intention to bring down a company. Do own judgement base on finding. After all there are court case in both sides. Wait and see.

Ha, this is like a movie with producer, director, actor and advertiser. Guess who is the producer? KPMG, BURSA or SC. Advertiser is non other than the media.

Infact to verify the material on site is not possible after few months becos it become work done. Those material had being converted to work done. Now only can verify on workdone. If the material is still there meaning to say the project had stop which is becoming sick or delay. It take a person with construction to understand this.

Serba Dinamik also reiterated that it had not changed its operations in a material way, aside from how the company “took on new customers across a few countries in FY20".

“Of course as part of our audit procedures, KPMG will always ask questions with regard to transactions and balances,” said Syed Nazim.

Abdul Karim, meanwhile, commented that the approach KPMG took this year “was a bit different” from previously.

“Some of these [questions] go back to the due diligence that we did before we got the approval for the IPO (initial public offering in 2017).”
