Nope, I am not timing. I am just discipline to sell when target hits and ensuring my funds are ready for next opportunity esp during mini bull times like this. I hv held high valued stocks for 2yrs many years ago and due to that many loss opportunities. Anyway, the method each or every person use is how the individual calculates profit. I calculate missed opportunity also

As for DIY, its a holding game with each double up sell. Open market 1.10, can calculate how many time it double up and drop below 2.20....thats the profit.

The game for Myeg is play accumulative of profit...multiple times ......with todays impending budget support will signal buy when drop and sell when hit target. Dont hold unless you bought cheap.

I bought a little here at 10.5 fr last week observation.....when 10 was dry for sometime, but no action taken to move. 50/50. And today is same again.

Given more than 100%......many many 2 weeks or less with high spike since b4 PH to PN and to date. If you play 25-40% profit, accumulative is much higher.

This is Govt play, with whichever way and which Govt this is a good stock......hv seen and played more than 10 rounds here.

There is lock horn here buyer and seller. Earlier last week was lock at 10c and now lock at 8.5 n 9. If you are gambler, place you bets now and wait. If you are not and hv money better play Myeg or DIY one Govt neutral play and the other essential play

Financial result can be seen as a good start to fiscal yr 2021. One more good Q will push its price to next level. My guess is with the MOA/MOU on vaccine and direction set forward those numbers can be anticipated esp Jan-Mar 2021as mostly will be distribution then.

Lets see this week. I see 1.72 next. Wonder why :)

For those who have been playing for long, would know financial results is not the only prevailing factor. In fact the results and positioning would hv been taken last week n factored in already. TA and FA is forward moving.

ACD Ya, never thought IGB can be affected like that. Since MCO first lockdown in Mar till now is 3 quarters already. 2Q report already presented showing poor profit. Everyone can expect poor revenue but doubly poor profit is not acceptable for a seemingly good company. For a country 2Q decline is already recession. For a company, 2 Q decline with profit dropping double of revenue pointing to their ability of not adapting

My comment is not to criticise IGB but rather disappointed with them as I hv always seen IGB as a sustainable company apart from good business diversification and for new business acumen. I have not seen any announcement of their direction nor change in ways they conduct their business

In short, a company must be able to transform and change for longer term with ability to strengthen bottomline. Not just diversifying and projecting new business revenue at the expense of profit. If that is the case, with a lot of money you can do that but you will not have business sustainability over time. This is a good example

3rd Q normally their strong Q but by absolute number immediately can be seen the profit is affected most. 23% revenue drop 3rd Q but staggering 45% PBT drop 2020 vs 2019. Where is the governance or is the company just looking at revenue? PBT drop double of revenue speaks volume about the diversification of the business they have which didn't work? or failure of governance in managing cost for a old company like IGB.

Wonder what a giant like IGB who diversified in many businesses going to do with majority and main business affected?
