CIMB shares are over sold many folds and today closing at 4.54 touches new low since Aug 2016. What is happening, I believe the management should clearify.

It's up to the CEO to pull the company shares out of the stalemate. Past few weeks the shares had been hit by foreign fund manager selling pressures and there are hardly any positive news from the company to justify the company status dropping off RM 0.40 cts. No doubt there are trading volumes but it's usual easing off few cts and recovering slightly. CIMB show us your might....... if any left over.

weaknesses existed everywhere in organization worldwide, if one do not like to invest in certain counter then just move on. here we are discussing positive and potential futures and past 2 days suddenly turns up few just continuing posting negative news on political issues.

distribution of government funds to their sectors had never been prompt throughout years as far as i can recalled. That's also part of reason fertilizers had been sold off by settlers to make end needs. In another way, we can say the government funds are fully stretched too. The only way are to mobilize link agency to buy GLC shares and I believed fgv shares are suppressed for some reason besides weak quarter results recently for next strong rebound.

the fgv situation remains unchanged ie, if the government wanted votes from felda settlers the shares price must be move upward. Present situation of oil price recovery and potential sugar price review will spur the counter. That's the reason of heavy collection last week for fgv shares.

today is friday so many investors will settle the book outstanding and rally rebound will not be expected. Lets see by next week if the GE 14 agenda announced is serious or just for popularity.

Relax just sit back, there is no need to rush for sell off or profit taking at such early stage. With OPEC and non OPEC decision to cut oil production, palm oil related bio-diesel will stand to gain demands.

Fgv hd undergone tough over selling this past few weeks. The potential reviewing of sugar prices and continuous increased in CPO prices should see rebound of share price through the year end. All other plantations are clocking good returns the latest being SOP. Go FGV......

on the other hand, if KWSP, KWAP , Tabung Haji etc.... wanted to close their year end account in green then fgv will be hot pick from now on

not anticipating fgv to go any further than 1.50 due to heavy profit takin.

agreed with Ishak, GLC norm of managing their company share price
2016-11-25 07:48 | Report Abuse
The continuing price hike in CPO will play a major role with fgv share price recovery. Demand will continue to pick up both for local and export sectors in the future for such agricultural products. Another plus point fgv is a GLC company which can't be ignore.
2016-11-25 07:10 | Report Abuse
the drop in share price might be due to disposing of star shine marketing, a wholly owned subsidiary of YKGI for RM 51 million. The share price will rebound as the sale in a way still contributing to the Group.

in a more transparent business societies, public listed ceo and head of company will be sack with their life time honorary name tarnished bcos of such malpracticed.

obviously zakaria arshad had manipulated the public, issuing statement of distrust saying fgv earning is better than previous. Can't imagine ceo of listed companies doing such unethical management practices. Bursa any comment????

CIMB actually hd achieved good quarter profit result but was pulled down mainly due to our weakening Ringgit. Will rebound on renew interest buying for sure.

I strongly believed fgv is another case of syndicates work suppressing the share price and rebound to make big money.
Just take a look at other plantations stock and u will likely agree.

Mr Ishak, i think it is not necessary to repeat your update daily (or several times) on the same info

The fgv board have lots of explanation to do to their loyal settlers as well as share holders.
2016-11-16 22:17 | Report Abuse
Too much of external influences are not healthy to the industry. Palm oil earned USD and with ringgit strength the quarter result should be back in black.

If other plantations are chalking higher profits and share prices... then something are terribly wrong with fgv.

i dun see the counter can gain much today coz selling pressure still strong. can't just understand why investors so desperate to sell off the shares. just be patience and keep for awhile otherwise we may never see the sunrise again.

EXTREME CAUTION..... fgv not for contra players or risk losing every penny.

bursa, did u issue UMA to fgv for the explanation in share price drop.?... know it won't be of any use except formality. syndicates really mock the counter and wack to pieces.

Lol..... u can see from chart that 2.20+ lowest since early Sept, who else would dump money to buy high and sell low. anyway a lot had been collected so expect to rebound soon, otherwise those syndicates will need to pay interest for their finance too.

Stock: [FGV]: FGV HOLDINGS BERHAD
2016-12-23 09:39 | Report Abuse
The edge is only repeating reports on the EPF statement that they do not hold any FGV shares, nothing alarming as those already taken over by other Government agency. Just as previous reports by Edge on reported losses and so on which I believe the news has certain agenda to create or report negative sentiments on Government investments. Just relax FGV will rebound back.
